Hey guise anyone here drive a ute? Thinking about getting one for work but I drive with my dog around as well sometimes. Is it safe to do it? I see tradies doing it all the time but my dog is a bit of a spaz and I fear she might try jump off.

It is not safe, how could it be?
The dog is tied by a rope to part of the vehichle. It cannot escape if the ute rolls or hits a wall or ANYTHING. It's stuck there.
And if you swerve and it goes over the edge of the tray it'll get DRAGGED along the road or get trapped in the wheels.
fully sick.
How would you like you or your family to travel like that?

Speaking of utes, I saw an unmarked police ute the other day
Now I'm paranoid about speeding cos you can usually tell an unmarked cop car; brand new holden covered in aerials, but this ute seriously looked like something a tradie would drive. Damn sneaky cops

Many tradies put the dog on the passenger seat but still, they should not be near a work site
And your insurance may refuse to pay for your injuries if the dog became a projectile inside the cabin of your car because it wasn't restrained.

But seriously just walk into a bar or pub and ask them if they need any workers, walk in any where and do it if u need the cashola for now. Don't be afraid of rejection, it's gonna happen alot in life, just cop it on the chin and move on
You can also sign up to a recruitment agency, they will find you temp work for sure, google them in Aus and contact them, send em an email or something.

just discovered a new channel, its called "GO" but dunno how long its been up for. basically just tv shows like seinfeld, southpark, big bang theory. right now the hills is on (shiit show) but pretty good channel if you're ever bored. not sure what the actual channel is lulz i just found it on the program list.
