Wow! You guys found this! <--- I don't leave User CP land very much, so I wasn't really expecting anyone to see it so quickly
Humm.. lets see here
Last we left off, I was in a bit of a flurry. Apologizes for the brisk exit from these parts
But .. with quite a bit of work and continuous deep introspection - we are doing much better.. Still some difficult bouts here and there, but they are less frequent and certainly less severe!
Not going to go through the whole history of things (don't want to bore you ! ) .. but I believe I have found a few areas that were holding me back from attaining the place / things I was aiming for <--- I am learning so much every single day .. and rekindling relationships with activities almost forgotten
I am starting to enjoy the person I am becoming and the life I have yet in front of me.
Exciting..
Yada Yada and all that other psycho babble ( )
I have missed you guys! You were the ones that propelled and set in motion many of the changes I am making
There is so much to thank you for ..
And since the third time is a charm - here we continue with the trilogy..

Sunday, November 1
Workout:
Squats
Lunges
Bench
Rows
A few other wonderful lifts!
Stretching
~ 2 mile walk on the beach
^^ Low in intensity, but sufficing for the state of wellness
Nutrition
I am not going to be tracking this in here.. I have another spot that I am closely monitoring for patterns that hold us in a cyclical pattern. But I would like to make a few comments on things here.. so i guess it will be a bit of nutritional randomness if that is alright with everyone?
I have found a major contributing issue to the difficulty in weight loss and it is in the form of the ICBINB spray - seems I used far too much for far too many years. Very naive..
But it is leading to a much more natural course of food selection. [should have been here a long time ago ]
Diet soda seems equally bad as well as other Splenda products that I used in teas, as well as 'protein bars', etc .. all LIES!
Starting to see the chemicals they use in these products can cause quite a bit of a mess
Away with them!
Happiness Today ..

hmm . . . good points. i'm rather wary of 'no-cal' products in general (don't have that many in oz anyway). not because they're 'bad' but because they tend to taste like ****e
fabricating portion sizes that meet legislation (less than 5kcal per serving in the US?) to qualify as containing no calories at all is a pretty good marketing trick. however, i don't really think you can blame the companies for people's inability to read the labels
i wouldn't go too hard on protein bars though. they're a life-saver and regardless what everyone says, they do give you a hefty shot of protein

Damn that splenda!!! Lol. Is stevia much better?
I will be honest, I didn't notice any weight changes when I quit splenda. I did feel better in terms of digestion. But that's me, not you, and our situations could be different.
I am so glad you are here!
Your plan sounds good to me.

Ah .. 'twas not the Splenda that I was having issues with, it was the spray <-- got me in trouble. Wanting to go more natural to see if health issues will start to clear up
I don't condemn the products .. just starting to see how it is affecting me
And I am starting to see a large difference overall with this change
Psychosomatic

Training:
20 mins Spin
1000 Jump Rope (continuous)
5 x 10 Half-Court Sprints
Shoulder Band Stretches
Foam Roller
Nutrition:
Going well!
Other:
Have been having a few issues with aches (similar to a relentless form of DOMS that never goes away and is unwarranted - but mostly something in the upper shoulder blade is stabbing )
Sooo...
Went to our first Acupuncture
Very different than anticipated .. never thought I'd be there, but as we were on the floor of the office this AM with the door shut cursing the tennis ball being rolled on, something HAD to be done.
Many swear by this --> keeping an open mind
She sternly recommended no weights for 2 weeks <--- was a bit down on this idea until she cleared cardio and stretching. Those are 2 areas I need work in anyway. A good chance to up the intensity for HIIT and really focus on stretching (band / bodyweight type)
^^ I will try anything, and if she thinks she can stop the aching in the back / shoulder .. then I am game to give it a go!
Had a great day today

KB swears by accupuncture and that means a lot in my book!
1000 jump rope....so thats means you didn't miss one jump? skipping is tough but loads of fun.
I am with you on the artificial sweetners...I get worried about having too much but I know in reality compared to some people I have hardly any, but to me its a lot and I'd rather not if I can help it....has been playing on my mind a lot since being with child.
So great to have you back

*nods*
Went ahead and enjoyed a roast last night with the family (I usually make my own food..)
Mum commented; 'You really did my heart good to see you eat something other than chicken'
Spent the day with mum (looooong drive + sales calls). It has been over a year since I have had her sole attention for more than a few minutes to talk about anything OTHER than work.. have missed that
Funny how she is the one who causes lots-o-stress .. but also holds the power to make everything seem 'ok'
To all you mothers (or expecting ) out there - you are wonderful ..
No training today. There are only so many hours .. but am planning a good session tomorrow
Today was another great day to chalk in the books

that made me smile, my mum also says 'it does my heart good'
glad you are keeping an open mind about the acupuncture too if nothing else it will open/activate/ cogitate/move things that
the tennis ball might not be able too! I would send my Jason over but, um no!

Agghhh...the love of a mom!!
My mom is my best friend and I cherish every minute with her....
With that being said she is also my boss and can drive me up a wall BUT I do the same to her and the good thing about being best friends we know when to walk away...
YUM - Roast!! I was going to say its getting to that time of year....but not where you are :P
I am also guilty of always cooking my own...
