1 of 10 final projects (for three classes)...done. I might get a week off from school as a compromise shortly before T-Day. w00t.
Also got a budget for a spankin' new treadmill. I's excited.

What's the correct way to overhead press? (not Military press)
[a] Lower bar till it rests on front delts, or
[b] lower bar till nose/chin level?

[c]Lower bar to between chin and shoulders level, or neck level, in other words.
btw: you must be using a very wide grip to be able to rest the bar on your delts...too wide for me.

Sorry to hear this, man. When you feel better you should have a one-man meet in your garage and videotape it. We'll cheer ya on.

I didn't care much for it either. Might give it one more week. The premise was alright, but I already don't like how the story is playing out.

Thanks.
I press Rippetoe style i.e. the way he demonstrates in the Starting Strength DVD. I'm liking this style even though I can't use much weight. I was just wondering if doing it this way, could be harmful to my delts, in the long run.

Do you guys remember the V from the 80 or 90s? Can't remember when it was.

Notice how far he's bending his wrists back. That brings the bar lower, but without much purpose. I just don't have that flexibility, and honestly, I don't think it's particularly good for your wrists.

All I really remember is that they seemed like normal people until they opened their mouths big like a snake.
And they had people partitioned into little cubicles in large ships.

Yeah but I make sure, I don't keep the load on the wrists. I let the barbell rest on the edge of my palm.

Yeah, they were lizards or something. The new show is like that too. I don't remember the old one that much, so I don't know if this is just a remake or a different story.
I might go see the 4th Kind tonight.

Hrmm... I tried calling Rep Dennis Moore in DC regarding HR3962... His mail box is full!
He wrote me that he says he's "opposed to socialized medicine, or a single payer system," and yet in the same letter, he is for the public option.
WTF is he kidding?!
