You are admired far more often than you believe you are.
double posting in someone elses thread...hope nobody minds it's good stuff. if you've never checked this music out, it can take you somewhere else...
totally different flavor...but give it a try i don't think you'll be disappointed. alot of people do workout to techno/trance, but classical music can have the same effect and IMO more inspiring and powerful. sorry i'm a little too lazy to imbed...
some of this might not seem intuitive...but for long, steady state cardio you'd be happily surprised. focus on it and you're in another place, perfect for cardio.
I don't really listen to music when working out -> I get too distracted...
But one of my favourites when doing conditioning:
^
must be listened to with volume high, whilst sweating profusely, and when feeling a little..... mentally unstable....

I dunno, seems kind of slow and in a minor key to boot. Not very inspirational or motivating to me =(
To each their own though. I don't find the heavy-metal-death-rape-pillage-PCP music that is very often posted in this thread to be particularly energizing either.

How could I forget Disturbed "Dropping Plates" and Drowing Pool.
During my workout I like stuff like Rammstein, Erik B & Rakim, and Linkin Park (before the sucky album). During a run I still use Linkin Park, but mostly it's trance or break beat type music.
