Obama +1
President Obama was formally elected a year ago this week. This week Republcans gained the governorships of NJ and VA, where as a split GOP allowed the Dems to gain NY 23. Which of the following describes your own political view compared to November 2008?

Voted Obama in '08. I didn't vote this year and I imagine I'll vote Dem in '10 unless they screw up or the Republicans stop being retarded.

I was going to vote for the Constitutional Party '08 but they weren't on the ballot so I went with Barr, I think.
I don't know what I'll do in 2010. Probably go (I) but if there is a decent Republican on the ticket who didn't vote for the bailout or stimulus, I might vote for them. I know Corn-what-his-name and KB Hutchinson voted for them - so they're dead to me. I don't know if Rick Perry is up for reelection or not. In that vote I'll probably vote Libertarian but I might actually vote for Kinky Freedman. I don't agree with Kinky on many stances but I like the idea of outsiders and not career politicians being in power. Kinky is apparently running as a Democrat, so this could be one of the rare times I vote that way.

I believe it's shaping up to be Hutchison vs Perry and the winner takes on Kinky Friedman who is running as a (D). Hutchison voted FOR the stimulus, and Perry accepted the money so both are out.
I guess it's the age old argument again: Giant Douche or Turd Sandwich?
For president there's no way in hell i'm voting D or R. I lurk on these boards and watch all you guys tear each other apart, but very few actually truly get that there's no difference between them.
PS--For God's sakes would the people in California please fire Pelosi, Boxer and Feinstein.

yep, after being on these boards for almost 2 years, ill never vote republican/democrat again. unless someone from a third party runs as a republican to get more debate time.
i voted bush in 2004, which was a mistake, but i was 19 and stupid. voted libertarian in 2008.

Ultimately what that means is that Obama would be a term president just like Jimmy Carter and that Mitt Romney will get elected and **** us over even worse than Obama did.

Really depends on the candidates, but I would like to see a Jesse Ventura/Ron Paul ticket in 2012.
