Pudding or lowfat yogurt with a scoop of whey protein mixed in will be easy to swallow and still keep your protein up.
Good luck, and yeah, like the other guy said do NOT use any straws. Take it from someone who had FOUR dry sockets...you do not want.

soft food, soups, etc
ice cream is good
dont create any suction in the mouth (no homo), dont drink through a straw or eat anything hot as it will disrupt the blood clots

Liquids. Drink whole milk (or your favorite protein shake). Nothing too lumpy though because obviously chewing is not a good idea. I had 3 taken out, and it took a few days before I could really chew anything again, and at least a couple of weeks before I was really comfortable with chewing anything substantial.

I had all 4 pulled at once, vicodin was my friend.
For the 1st 2 days I ate nothing but chicken broth, then moved up to the noodles, etc.
Don't forget to rinse your mouth out after every meal.

doesn't necessarily have anything to do with healing ability.. his removal was probably just a lot smoother.. mine took an hour of the surgeon cutting and chizzling my teeth into 10-20 pieces, and they were all growing out in different angles so i couldn't put direct pressure on them all with gause by biting down so they bled for days..
some peoples just pop out and they go on their way.

Don't forget to rinse your mouth out with salt water. I refused to do that for the longest time and the pain and swelling did not go away until I started doing this.

yeep..
yogurt, protein shakes, water.. gargle with cool salt water after day one, like 4-5 times a day... do not do anything at all that could potentially loosed your blood clots on day one. dry sockets are literally like a 10 on the pain scale, google it. women who had children say its worse pain than giving birth. do not risk it.

I've had a lot of things in my mouth throughout my lifetime, so I was used to it.

also there is no way to dull the pain of dry sockets, pain killers do nothing.
well you have to go back to your oral surgeon and he will pack the holes with ****ty tasting gause twice a day for 3-5 days until they heal.

if you get dry sockets, eating is pretty much out of the question. Its doable, but it hurts no matter what, so just eat anything. Last year me&the bros and our womenz went to Mongolian barbecue like 4 days after I got mine out. Hurt, but was amazing. Anything is possible young star.

I had all four removed at once and I lost seven pound in a week and a half of not being able to chew much.
I was lifting after two weeks so it was not as bad in the long run as having food constantly get stuck between my wisdom teeth.
