shorted the **** out of the top. Got fills on SPY and IWM around /ES 1068-69. Can't get any better than that. Making back the money I drew down on that ass**** of a rally. Sold off the last long position I have. Channels work and god damn I love them. Nailed that upper trendline and failed
EDIT: GOOD LORD I LOVE CHANNELS. I havent banked as hard as I have in the last couple weeks since last october

i dont trade /es because i dont have enough capital really. Costs like 5k/contract so you need like 20k to trade it effectively. I mostly watch /ES as a proxy for the market and trade IWM or SPY options

the british government. with our current PM at the helm there's no way we're going to recover faster than the US economy or the rest of Europe.

This week so far has been an inside week to last weeks price action. Though this weeks trend was up and last weeks trend was down.
GL...I'm holding some of the DDM puts I sold still...fib wise on a mid term picture I am bullish still.

A futures broker will be between $500-$1000 per contract for DAYTRADES only!
You have to meet appropriate maintenance margins to hold overnight.

today was once again surprising.
after horrible consumer credit #'s and unemployment #'s...market refused to drop....
even tho the market is closing flat...its still a victory for bulls...because clearly this bad news should've been more than enough fuel for shorts...
market is becoming more and more of a lottery/guessing game.

So we got lousy unemployment numbers, horrendous consumer credit #s, bad nonfarm payrolls...and $CIT bankruptcy..
yet the market is not correcting the way it should be.
today, without a doubt should have been a hard selloff day.
But it did not happen.
market continues to humble.
to be continued....

Im not surprised one bit. For the last month , everyone expects employment numbers to be bad. No one was even shocked today. The market went down for 10 mins then drifted into green territory. The employment numbers are the LAST thing to recover in any economic recession as well. As far as the consumer credit #'s, eh - people were expecting worse.
The data from yesterday about the economic recovery was still lingering. We are in the middle of a bearish pullback at the end of today and the 1070/75 will be the real test. If we hit that resistance and drop down...who knows how far we will drop. But if we climb that wall... dow is looking good for dow 10,600/700 by the end of the year
Again, just my opinion. Never expected anything "horrible" in the market today. Next week is a different story.
