The Real Deal
Ross is the 'real deal' period! Not only is he unpretentious,he also cares for peoples development.I have sent e-mails to Ross and he has answered every one with wit, wisdom, and very sound advice. This article is an example of his great writing style.I encourage readers to check out his site at www.warriorforce.com.In this day and age of so-called gurus making a fortune and being aloof and self-righteous,Ross answers with three words-intensity,integrity,intelligence!Jason Whitney

It is the best explanations I ever had about training!
Thanks to Mr Enamait for those articles, about burpees, heavy bag training or else. I'm a savate (french boxing) "tireur", and those training tips and advices gave me a great help for my own training...and my friends' too !
Thanks once again, and I don't forget the humility and humor, the mark of the best!
Thank you sincerely, Mr Enamait!

Hopey
Love the burpee with medicine ball- excellent Ross.
A famous Brisbane rubgy league player was asked in one of those '20 questions' type interviews- if you could meet anyone living or deceased, who would you most like to meet? He replied "the bast#*!d who invented burpees!"
Yours in boxing,
Hopey

Some good advice. When doing burpees I'll always find some where to do it where i can incorporate a chin up after the jump phase. I think that pretty much covers every muscle in the body then.

Ross is a great trainer... He is one of the few who has rekindled interest into functional exercises...

Burpees: Underrated for a reason.
I have done quite a lot of burpees; I took Judo for four years and we often did burpees for conditioning. I still use them occasionally if I want some quick exercise and have no access to a gym. They are definitely a good way to increase your short term endurance; however, do not expect them to contribute meaningfully to your weight loss goals. You simply cant do them long enough to burn a significant number of calories. (try doing more than thirty consecutively and you will see what I mean) And forget about increasing strength with burpees. Why not just do clean and presses (which are not bad at all for short term endurance) and get a good strength workout in the process?
