We have one near Nick's! Burger are mmmkay, but once you try thos mini sliders nothing come close.
Also I was going to mention on your strong pressing of late, and more importantly LATE in your prep. I think so much of this had to do with you being a bit more of tight wad with loads, as far a cycling lifts and loads. We have all been there, trying to beat the same 3RM for weeks and weeks....You stayed poised and in control the whole way when it came to that.

oh definitely....I've known for a long time that periodization is king when it comes to consistent gains...but knowing and doing aren't the same...its taken my stubborn ass a long time to shift away from my natural ADD lifting to now actually doing it and reaping the benefits, and your influence has been HUGE in that.
Last offseason I tracked my macros the entire time and reaped the benefits, this offseason I'm planning out my entire periodization sched too...BIG THINGS coming.

I'm actually taking physiology of ex. right now and I think youll like it a lot. I think youll do real well in it too by the knowledge in most of your posts.
With your periodization plan do you plan on doing something with more volume/frequency after Max-OT or do you have something else in mind. Trying to pick your brain since periodization is somewhat new to me.

This is so so true...once you taste the Kobe sliders...NOTHING comes close in terms of burgers. Although Alberto and I had these hamburgers in San Francisco awhile back from this place called BurgerMiester that were damn good

Matt Karwoski goes from 240+ lbs down to below 220 from Wednesday evening until Friday morning at an early weigh in, and then loads back up back to 245lbs meet day on Saturday, CRAZYYYYY change for sure.
Periodization is awesome training to learn to adapt to. This is why I am ejoying these programs that map out all of my lifts by %'s as long as I type in my absolute, no ego minded 1RM, lol.

Did you mean Matt Kroczaleksi? A genetic merge between Kirk Karowski and Matt Kroczaleski would be a sight to see, though!

I'm going to a placetonightthat has a burger challenge too. Not sure how much it weighs though. If I try it I'll have pics for sure. All I've heard about it is BIG, bacon, 4 fried eggs on top, and only 3 people have ever done it.

I bet I'll love it too, and yeah that is exactly the plan...but I'm having trouble thinking of a program to fit the bill...I was thinking GVT but really I don't think its a well designed program...the total number of sets per bodypart really isn't that high, the frequency is still 1x/week, and the only thing increased is the workload...but not that much from max ot...so all i'd really be doing is decreasing intensity...doesnt sound smart to me...
so let me put this out there to everybody, any suggestions on some high volume high frequency programs I should give a go? I could easily design my own, but I'd like to give some existing programs a shot.

You could try the Serge Nubret program and let all all know how it works out for you???
Honestly, though, that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head that is high volume and high frequency.

Only one I can come up with that is closest to high freq/high vol and is a pre-made program is Sheiko. Seems like when people follow a general outline of high freq/high vol it's almost always custom made.

sheiko is high frequency? I thought it was 3x/week? oh yeah...its full body 3x/week though isn't it?
I may just do the Ivory latino split:
Sat upper
Sun lower
Mon upper
Tue lower
Wed upper
Thu lower
Fri off
NO FAILURE, mon and tue moderate volume easier workout
unless of course serge's program is good stuff....or let me take a look at sheiko...#29 right?

Sheiko isn't too far off from what you are looking for righv now Eric, but I don't know if I would do it right now if I were in your position, unless you were willing to modify it and add to the routine. What about bertos old push, pull, legs (or whatever order it was)? What about just making up your own for a short time, maye 4 weeks, to transition into another program. Plus that would give you a little time to decide on a program.

Plus that would give you a little time to decide on a program.

i'm thinking berto's upper lower split I listed I might go for unless serge's routine has some merit

O I C so you're just lookin into what you'll change to after you're done...I like Upper/Lower a lot! I personally would go with a Pull/Push/Lower routine, but I dont know if it has the frequency you need since you'd most likely need to take a day off between Lower and Pull.
