Me too actually - it was my first time cutting though, I planned everything out EXACTLY. The problem is that I didn't leave myself enough room to come in conditioned ahead of time, so when I slipped up halfway through my cut there was no slack for the long run. (I was only shooting for 4-5% though, so next time I'm also going to aim a little lower around 3%.)

Suck that there is no time to really do anything about leaning out more but you will do well regardless good luck dude.
Btw you said slipped up? What did you slip on pan cakes or ice cream?

I know. If I had one more week I'd be a lot more ripped.
Haha, it wasn't a dietary slip up; it was simply cardio neglect. I had planned to be doing 1,000-1,200 calories worth of cardio a week but for a little bit I fell short. I didn't compensate for it with my diet either so I ended up falling behind schedule.

Good conditioning. On your back poses, flex your glutes and throw on a couple of more coats of pro tan tonight. Good Luck!!!

5% is actually a good target. Very few people actually compete at 3%

Alright - I woke up early this morning to do just that. I'll do another coat or two after weigh-ins tonight.

However, I figure if I calculate/aim for it then I'll come in ahead of schedule and not have to worry about another diet or cardio mishap.

Yep, there'll be pretty much no water after weigh-ins tonight. Tomorrow I'll drink just enough to quench my thirst and get a pump, nothing more.
