I like doing bottom up squats a lot more than regular squats

Hey I had a question, well I need to start gaining weight fast and I was thinking of trying that zig-zag diet since it seemed to work for you. Well my question is how many days in week should I do bulk and cut days. Also how many normal calorie days?

This is what I did, my normal caloric intake was 3.5k.
Day 1: 3500 (normal)
Day 2: 3700 (slighly above)
Day 3: 4500 (Higher)
Day 4: 2500 (less)

What kind of ab workouts do you do? It's my one muscle group I'm having trouble developing and have been neglecting.
I find strength training for abs to be the most effective. Why? because you work on both size and the strength of your core (which will help you in ALL your lifts).
And then you can just shed your bodyfat to make your abs visible.
I usually train them with the rep ranges of 5-8 reps. 3 sets total
I superset them with oblique exercises (10-12 reps)
For Ex:
Weighted Decline Crunches: 3x8
*Superset*
Oblique Side Bends: 3x10-12
I do only 2 exercises because my core gets worked in all my other workouts.

Yup just stick to weighted declines OR regular decline crunches and you'll be fine. You don't need to do the whole "40 reps for 5 sets in 20minutes" scheme.
Try to do your abs on your major compound lift days. (Deadlift/back, squat/legs). Two days a week is enough.

legs are nasty man, good ****. I'm gonna have to start doing those bottom-up squats. Can't wait to get back into BB. 1 week hopefully and I'll be good to go

Dude, definately try it. I love it. Blows squats out of the water IMO. Plus you feel pretty beast after you've completed a set lol
And you'll probably be the 2nd or 3rd person to do them and record it in the teen workout journal section.

How did you find out how much calories you needed?
I just estimated on what I ate on a normal basis.
although...You can use this calculator, but it may not be accurate. Bodybuilding uses the trial and error system, meaning you'd have to play around with the diet just a tiny bit so the system will work for you.
