Good job! Wish I could do full body I'm still on 50 lbs assist on those. I can do them off the side of a bench with my legs straight out in front of me but on the floor and those are fairly easy but wouldn't a true body weight off the bench mean you would need your feet up on a bench too and not just on the floor?

good job
one time my wife's students mistakenly said "girls can't do dips"
so my wife got between two desks, knocked out a quick 10 and said "you mean like that?"

When doing the dips between the bench, I feel it more in just my tri's.
When doing the actual full body dip, I can feel it in my shoulders, chest & tri's.
I do believe the video is the actual full body dip
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ridgely8.htm
Thank you all for your wonderful comments. 8 months ago when I started lifting, I wasn't able to do a single dip.(or pull up) so many of you have inspired me that I'm forever grateful and love it when I can inspire someone else.
Determination and dedication has made it possible for me. Never give up!! Do it for you

You aren't lifting your whole body weight as some of it is on your feet...
I've always called those ones tricep-dips... that's what they tend to be called this side of the pond... as opposed to regular dips where your whole body weight is taken onto your hands.. although you can alter whether more or less goes onto your chest or triceps by whether you lean forwards or not...
to OP great job... well done...
to IronCitGrl... your are well on the way... keep it going...

Awesome! We are at about the same spot in our trainings, lol. I did flat db presses 6x with the 50s (but could NOT do even 1 with the 55s, lol). And last night I did 3 sets of 10 dips. I was benching 145 lbs but then stopped the flat bench and switched it up to the db presses... I`ll be starting back with flat bench later this week. I`m stoked!
Again, great job!! I think I know exactly how much effort it takes to get where you are and so you rock!

Today I did 8 on my first set. Second set in this video I did 7, then 3rd set I added the 5# for a total of 15# and did 5
My training partner and I are going to be doing this for about another 5 weeks.
Can't wait to see the end result!!
