Calories low (1600 ish maybe?)... but I'm going to sleep around 7:30am so eating anything else would be odd for me and give me energy @_@.. And yes it did take me 1hr to eat some of the things haha..

Trying carb cycling this month. Today is "Low" day tomorrow I'm going to try either another low or no carb day. I know my father wants to take me out to dinner Thursday night for my birthday so I'm going for High carb on that day... Man this is going to be interesting to do the first week of all of the birthday stuff and going to a event @___@...

I w ill have to seek out a link on that Main Coast! Sounds yummy. Yeah, the Coconut Water comes in flavors, I like the Mango. But hmm, fresh pinapple puree wins my taste buds any day.
There is also a guy, MCG, in our Charlie Brown thread that is having a birthday. He loves brownies, so I gave him some, lol. Shame on me. Hey its his birthday! I think you are 25 on the 4th or 5th? I saw it posted on MySpace, but cant recall the exact date. I will be sure to post birthday stuff for ya! Yeah stay low-zero carbs for now and have that cake day worry free. Just enjoy YOUR special moment in time.

Its salty but it only has 301mg of sodium per 1/3 c, 775%DV of iodine, 522mg of potassium and 3g carbs, which are all fiber . When you steam it, it grows twice the size!
Coool. *gasp* brownies... haven't had those in awhile hehe. Yup I'm turning 25 on the 5th... which is 40mins or so from now . Time flies *nods*. Been mostly doing "low carb". Added in cottage cheese and greek yogurt to some of my meals yesterday to add more protein per meal, which is what your suppose to do @_@ didn't get enough protein per meals 2 days ago. Thursdays is going to be my "High carb day" and I'm going to try to do no carb day friday.. @_@

Going to do a Stretch down and take a hot bath. Today is the No carb day eating eggs now

Man Sunday night into Monday night I had a terrible time trying to sleep and had neck/shoulder blade/back aches. Ran out of pain relievers and were on sleep aids (I normally take sleep aids because I always seem to have problems sleeping lately) so I couldn't go to the store.
I used mostly my right shoulder (good side) Saturday and Sunday but yet my left shoulder/shoulder blade were in pain. Booo. Oh well I had fun though... I feel a lot better now though but neck is still stiff. Haven't had neck pain like this for a little while :/
Today I'm planning on doing some arm workouts at the gym. Triceps are just screaming for a workout haha. But if its too painful I'll just hop on the treadmill or something.
Oh I was surfing around bb.com forums and I found an awesome site from one of the sticky threads in the Exercise forum. I'm in love with this site: http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html
Also now I remember why I used to loved putting Peanut Butter in my Oatmeal <3 haha and walnuts in my protein shake pudding (just 1-2scoops of protein powder and very little water, makes a small amount though). My all time favorite is still cottage cheese and hot sauce Mmmm
Well hopefully be posting later on in the day another workout

Also I'm thinking about just posting food intake like I used to. Just the totals.

Happy Veterans Day~! To all those out there in the military working hard for our Country and Allies, Thank you and God Bless
Treadmill
Time: 40mins + 4min cool down
Distance: 2.10
Calories: 291
Notes:
1 mile in 20 minutes and 2 miles just under 40mins.
Goal: Get faster without hurting self more.
I feel a burn in my triceps from yesterday and in my calves for the cardio @_@.. but yet its my back, neck, and shoulders that is REALLY bothering me. A hot bath is definitely needed. Have to wear my neck collar when trying to sleep. Luckily this morning the sleep aids worked, so I got 8hrs YAY~! Was suppose to go to the gym with my friend again but she couldn't but I ended up going myself anyways. Stomach kind of feels upset though ~_~ didn't eat before cardio and then ate a little something... now I feel blah..

I'm going to take a rest day Today and Tomorrow. I was going to do more cardio but I'm going to cool it for now. Pain still hasn't stopped ... Been taking 8hr Tylenol stuff that has 1300mg .. yes i know bad... Plus my natural anti-inflammatory supplement combined but that doesn't even help the pain. Going to drink magnesium powder supplement now. Going to wait until Saturday to go to the gym to see how I feel pain wise. At least I still got movement
To get neck pain relieve I have to wear my neck collar for a little while. Got to do more neck and back stretches and watch my posture I guess. Don't have spare money to get deep tissue massage done this week (maybe not next week either -_-) or go to the chiropractor :/. On a tight budget until next Friday.
Today I'm going to eat carbs tonight Mmm. After yesterday with very low carbs... craving them. Finishing up cooking soon. This is what I have lined up for the rest of my day: Sweet potato, 3/4c brown rice, cauliflower, broccoli, grass fed beef cubes inside a 2 low carb wrap with a little hot sauce on top of the beef, 1c cottage cheese, 3 hard boiled eggs, protein shakes (maybe walnuts), and a tamale pie ( http://www.amyskitchen.com/products/...view.php?id=22 ). I had some honey sesame sticks earlier at my part time job and I tired those honeys I couldn't try last week because it was a no carb day so wuahahaha. Also got to try alittle of organic bilberry juice. Not as sweet as I thought it would be. I love working at a health food store
Did neck and back exercises before heading to work
Note to self: I added in two Enzyme products into my supplements 11/12/09 and Ultimate Flora Advanced Immunity Probiotic. One Enzyme is more aimed towards cardiovascular health and fat digestion and the other is for digestion in general. So the main supplements I'm taking now:
Main:
New Chapters Woman's Multi One-a-Day
Enzyme blends
Udo's Super 8 Probiotic
Renew Life Ultimate Flora Advanced Immunity Probiotic
New Chapters Wholemega/Barleans Omega Twin(liquid)/Nordic Naturals Omega 3's (depends on which one I decide to take)
Kelp Tablets (150mcg (lol) each)
L-Glutamine
On and off:
New Chapter Zyflamend
Pain relievers
Natural Sleep aids
Nature's Vitality Natural calm- magnesium powder drink
echo echo... lol

WoW! Suddenly you are posting ike crazy in here, lol. I had to read a whole book to catch up! Goodness. I never read the carb cycling thread, did it say to bring protein intake up to weight level? I was confused about that.

Haha yea got some workouts in there and some food intake updates... it was so quiet in here all alone lol.
It did say per body weight... thats too much for me right now... I keep hearing it should be lean body mass not body weight. Maybe this carb cycling is more towards bodybuilders for competitions coming up? Still not 100% on the diet because of the min protein and this is stating that on my low days I can have up to my bodyweight in carbs (which for me was my high carb day hahaha) as well but only in 2 out of 5 meals and you need to eat a small piece of fruit before the carby meal...

Protein Consumption
Protein: the easy part. Actually, protein is the foundation of this diet. It is not to be skipped, skimped upon, taken lightly, or otherwise reduced simply because the diet does not focus on it. The significance of protein cannot be overstated, though such details are beyond the scope of this article. We shall not get into the minimum requirements for a bodybuilder, which types of proteins are superior to others, and the numerous other issues that have perplexed the scholars and been debated ad nauseam.
Suffice it to say, that one gram per pound of bodyweight is the absolute minimum, and there is no maximum on this diet. In other words, at each and every meal, of each and every day, you can feel free to dig in to as much protein as you wish. Though there are some rules. Beyond these rules, and for simplicity's sake, I will assume you are eating a sufficient quantity at each and every meal and leave it at that.
Assuming you are eating six meals each day, regardless of which type of day, you will eat a minimum of 1/6 of your total daily minimum requirement for protein at each meal. Thus, a 200-pound individual should eat at least 33 grams of protein at each and every meal. If five meals is the necessary course, the same individual should eat a minimum of 40 grams of protein per meal.
You can eat more, but to overindulge at one meal, does not excuse a deficient amount at another. In other words, do not shortchange your protein consumption at any meal.

Ok now that I have read that, I need to go see what my can of protein says on carbs- cant remember. If carbs are in check for keto (I think you and I are on different keto diets, since I dont really have a carb up day, unless I am having an emergency, lol ) then I will have to get started on more protein shakes thru the day.

Hmm I think mine isn't Keto though. Only 1 day is I think. Too carby for keto I think. Yea my problem is my protein shakes are 7g of net carb (10 fiber) and the other is 20g (4g fiber).
Yaaay~! I got my weight back down to 247. Weighed myself at 8pm. Decided to take some Progress pictures for bb.com since I haven't updated my progress picture since August 22nd 2009.
Meeh not TOO much different but I do see a little difference here and there. Still very flabby . I was looking at my old photobucket progress pictures from last year from the challenge Jan 08 to July 08 and its like " geez what a big difference from what I am now " But then at the same time it makes me want to get better then I was. Only problem is I can't lift heavy yet T_T bOooo.

Yep healing is like , prayer requests, weight training and dieting...Just gotta do your part and wait on your body to catch up and show results. Be patient, go slow. Read the book of Ecclesiastes to get your flesh and Spirit balanced.

Will do. I always thought Proverbs (though a good book) and Ecclesiastes were sort of depressing though lol. Reading the first 3 chapters already and yea seems depressing.
Yea just got to keep patient and keep at it. Planning on going to the gym tomorrow. But I also have to do laundry :/ boo

Awww, lol, then read something, lol. I always thought Ecclesiastes seemed so balancing. calms the waters. Makes me think how things are so natural and not FORCED. Keeping our thoughts balanced- with good is bad, with full is empty, with life is death. There is no greener side. Its all balanced. You may say its depressing, but to me the ingredients need to be just right/balanced to stay focused. Ok- Proverbs huh? My turn to read 3 chapters.

Well I guess it sort of feels like everything is useless when reading it haha. I like proverbs though. I like it when he talks about wisdom the most *nods*
Monday into Tuesday morning food intake:
No Day
Total
Calores: 1838
Fiber: 20
Net Carbs: 17
Protein: 226
Ha 1 point lower then last no day wuahahaha~! Would have been 10 if I didn't take my protein powder but I wanted more fiber as well (the shake I have now is a 20 protein and 10 fiber). Carbs.... how I miss thee ... must wait until later *nods*. So tired... I still have 1hr 15minutes before my shift is over
