I loved your ability to be wrong and continue to believe you were right.
To go up against a group of people who are the lowest of the low and somehow make yourself look stupid in front of them.

Man this sucks! I've been away from these forums for too long. I loved SX and now it's gone just like any other worth while sups that have come and gone like a ghost in the night.

bb.com refunded me for an open bottle. This was before the email they sent, but they were aware of the "voluntary" recall.

Still feeling sick
I had these same exact feelings, and thought the dosage may not have been appropriate. I couldn'y sleep, eat, think, react, nothing. I had to call out of work, I feel terrible. Any advice? My stomach lining feels like it is being ripped apart.
- No real appetite. Nothing. Other stimulants did this for me so this wasn't anything unusual but I could probably have went days without eating.
- Dry mouth, lips, throat, etc. I was never thirsty but I forced the water down, only to have the dry throat again a minute or two later.
- In spite of the "mini crashes" as I described them, I had no real crashes when I went off of it outside of feeling tired for a day.
With all of those various sides, I didn't experience any weight loss above and beyond that I expected with my cut. I'm not selling the remaining amount of the bottle but I won't take any more either. It would be interesting if some other fly by night supplement company tried to put this stuff in a stimulant fat burner. A lot of people reported positive effects after all...[/QUOTE]

Yeah Brah (Sistah?) IMO these thiamine formulas tax the stomach. When I used Spike capsules alone in the past I had an eroded stomach lining, thats a fact, I have the pics. Most recently I was pooping blood, (yeah lol) but its not fun or funny when its happening. My advice would be to stop the product and give yourself time to recover. Thats not a demeaning statement, because I know its not apparent that anything in the supplement would cause adverse effects.

To finish up on my riveting conversation with AX, my last email

So ken what does an increase in lipophilic properties do? The little bit I read is that it allows a substance to bind to fats. Now when we have a vitamin (b1), that is normally water-soluable and you make it fat-soluable(?) wouldnt that allow the vitamin to build up? and if when vitamin b1 is injected it causes side effects (probobly due to the body not being able to rid the vitamin fast enough?) wouldnt making a water-soluble vitamin into a fat-soluble vitamin be dangerous?
Wow, even Im confused on my own explanation of what I think the problem is, and the way I see it, thats the whole point of what is going on now. Confusion + misleading + WTF + well, it does have some nice qualities + but thier website is soooo cool + that damn Taco bell got me again + I have other things to do = Whatever

So what they did was take a quote I made out of context.
Obviously I was referring to the mindless group mentallity of this forum.
That speaks volumes to me, but you can draw your own conclusions.
On an even more serious note, God bless all those involved in the terrible Fort Hood incident. Peace

thiamine prodrugs can be irritating to the stomach, and should be taken with food. this is the case with most all sulfide containing compounds. In combination with the anorexic effects of the stimulant ingredient i can see this being a problem.

The below is excerpted from Crazed Animal's epic fail, although it did elicit this hilarious and even more ridiculous response from AX.

See that brah, Respect.
Im not gonna lie, I gave you the stink eye when you seemed to imply (to me) that water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins are the same.
But then you go do something like this, and totally redeem yourself!!!!!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnkefjCES-4
J/P brah I wanna trust you, you seem to know the buisness well.
You guys act like Im saying this so I can prance around in my fancy pants. I dont own fancy pants(Sowy does). I have nothing to gain.
Seriously, I dont even want this stuff off the market, I think it has its uses 'OCASIONALLY' but when it seems to me these companys go out of thier way to hide things from unknowing customers by using words like- Aneurin, DBE, Lipophilic, and other unfamiliar words, I think thats b.s. I feel like the customer could get blind sided easily. I dont know why you guys wanna make me out to be the enemy? Im on your side. I feel like its not the words I say, but maybe the way I say it? Should I be more gentle? And really, I never read much about the amino proline stuff (I thought it was tainted from the get go), so I could easily be wrong in saying thats harmless.

Short-term:
Insomnia
Tachycardia
Trouble breathing
Numbness in one or more limbs
Memory loss
Extreme anxiety and paranoia
Psychosis
Addiction
Dry mouth
Increased BP
Diarrhea
Constipation
Blurred vision
Impaired speech
Arrhythmia
Erectile Dysfunction
(Note that some of these effects would only occur with higher dosages)
Long-term (possible, not proven):
Coronary damage
Great risk of heart attack
Irregular heartbeat
Seizures
Paranoia
Mental/physical lethargy
Memory loss
Black outs
Ulcers
Brain damage
Speech difficulties
Depression
Psychosis
(Note that some of these are general amphetamine side effects and would most likely only occur at high dosages over extended periods of time. There have been no conclusive studies done on the long-term effects of 2DMP. This compilation is simply a list of reported/possible side effects that may occur at varying dosages.)

It could happen to anyone. But where is the protection?
I too have become a victim of SX. I have been taking 1 pill aday for 4 weeks and liked it alot. Then this past Friday, was a whole new story. I felt like I was losing my mind. Not to mention I was not able to speak right, walk normal, I had heart pains, trouble breathing, and the worst spinal pain in my life!! I fell to the floor and could not move. Luckily, my husband was around.. The Medical Doctors could not figure out what was wrong.. My blood work came out fine and ruled out mengitis and the flu.. Chest xrays came out clear. They sent me home with anti-depressants and said I it got worse to come back. As someone that works with doctors as a profession like myself. I KNEW something was wrong because the amout of pain I was having in my Spine. I got a 3rd doctor and he ran a more detailed test. And it was infact SX! Taking it for 4 weeks my body was building up to the poison and shut down. It started to attack my nervous system. Hints why I was not able to speak, losing my mind, spinal pain, no control of my body movements, tingling in my body was so painful I really thought it was the end for me! I have doctors bills galore and I missed 7 days of work. I am still in alot of spinal pain in my spine. And my body is moving very slow. It's heart breaking to me.. I have 2 boys 5 years and 20 months and was very active. Never would I have thoght something like this could happen to me from a pill over the counter (where is the FDA???) I just pray that this does not happen to another person again! And I only took 1 pill a day!

Right....strong first post.
Why are you calling out the FDA? Everyone knows the supplement industry is not regulated. "I got a 3rd doctor and he ran a more detailed test. And it was infact SX!" care to elaborate on this?
What went down with SX is shady, but I'm tired of all this blame game stuff. Especially from people who are just first time posters.
