Well, the title says it all. This is my first ever log and I am very happy to be logging Fusion's creatine (Purple K) and BCAA (Agent-M) products. Prior to getting into everything, I would like to sincerely thank George and the rest of the Fusion team for allowing me the opportunity to give these two products a go.
A little about me: I've been bodybuilding seriously for about a year now. I lifted in college, though I never dedicated myself in the appropriate manner. Since Sept. 2008 (the same month I joined this site!), I've been sticking to a solid diet and have been lifting religiously. Currently, I weigh 185 lbs. and am 6'2". My aspiration has never been to be a mass-monster; rather, I'd aiming for a solid physique accompanied with some decent lifts. Thus far I am pleased with the progress I have made, though a lot more can certainly be accomplished! Hopefully Agent-M and Purple K will push me further in the right direction .
Current lifting program: I am employing Bill Star's 5x5 linear progression program. Lift days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The crux of the program is the squat, with other major compound lifts piled in as well (such as BB bench press, BB row, Incline BB press, Deadlift, Dips, Pull-ups). Here is a link should anyone wish to find out more about this particular program:
Injury Update: Back in January I fell victim to a bulging disc in my lower back (the result of improper form ). As such, I was sidelined from lifting for three months. When I got back in the gym in late April, I was limited to only a selection of exercises (limited to anything that did not directly involve the lower back). Finally, in August, I was cleared by my doctor to resume squatting, DLing, Rowing and so forth. Since then, I have paid painstaking attention to my form in an effort to avoid any aggravation of my lower back. As such, my squat, DL and Row numbers are far from impressive (my bench is higher than my squat ). However, my form has been very solid and I'm very aware that, at this stage, it is critical that I take small steps.
Diet: Pretty typical. High protein/ High fat/ Moderate carbs. I'll post up my meals as the log progresses.
Additional Supplements that I will be using:
Gaspari MyoFusion
Gaspari Superpump 250
APS Phenadrine (on non-lift days)
Ok, now that we've made it past the introduction, let's jump into the first day!
Day 1: Monday, October 26.
My Fusion package arrived around noon today which was perfect timing to begin the log. I hit the gym at 7:00 p.m. this evening. Per Fusion's instructions, I took 4 "bullet" caps of Agent-M one hour prior to hitting the gym (at 6:00 p.m.). Next, I took two Purple-K pills thirty minutes before heading to the gym (6:30 p.m.). The Agent-M pills are larger than the Purple K caps, though each are easy to swallow.
The workout:
Squat (5 sets):
1) 5 x 95 lbs
2) 5 x 115
3) 5 x 140
4) 5 x 165
5) 5 x 185
Bench (5 sets):
1) 5 x 115
2) 5 x 140
3) 5 x 165
4) 5 x 195
5) 5 x 225
BB Row (5 sets)
1) 5 x 85
2) 5 x 105
3) 5 x 125
4) 5 x 145
5) 5 x 165
assist exercises:
Hyperextensions: 2 sets of 10 x 20 lbs
Weighted Ab Pulldowns : 4 sets of 10 x 90 lbs
total time in gym: 55 mins
post-workout: 4 Agent-M pills and 2 Purple K pills
water consumption: 40 OZs
Overall feeling during work-out: Pretty solid. Focus was on par, energy was there, drive was present. Lower back felt great. It is my first day on these two products, so it is (obviously) difficult for me to judge their effectiveness at the moment.

Well, I slept terribly last night. Didn't fall asleep until 2:30 and woke up at 6. As such, I felt awful all day - very on edge, eyes were killing me, zero energy. However, Tueseday isn't a bad day for this type of thing to happen to me as I do not lift on Tuesday. I do, though, like to get in some cardio on my non-lift days, but today I just couldn't even come close to finding the energy to do so.
In any case, I awoke and took 8 Agent-M caps and 2 Purple K pills first thing on an empty stomach. Tonight I plan on hitting the hay real early so I'm feeling refreshed and ready to go for another weight lifting session! Sorry for the unexciting update, but I want to keep this thing up-to-date every day.
See you all tomorrow!

Alright, so I just got back from the gym! Good, solid workout this evening and I'm feeling pretty solid.
I got up pretty early today (6 a.m.), and packed some food for work (couple chicken breasts, can of tune, banana, turkey sandwich, etc...). My energy was up all day and I couldn't wait to hit the weights (...lol. sigh). ANYWAY, I popped 4 Agent-M caps at 5:00, 2 purple K pills at 5:30 and hit the gym at 6:00.
The workout went as follows:
Squat: (Weds are "light" days for legs...give 'em a little break before loading up on Friday!)
5 x 115
5 x 135
5 x 155
5 x 155
Incline BB bench:
5 x 95
5 x 115
5 x 135
5 x 155
Deadlift:
5 x 155
5 x 190
5 x 225
5 x 255
3 sets of weighted pull-ups: +25 lbs x 6
2 sets of abs
notes on workout: Felt very solid during my time in the gym. My focus was great and my endurance was quite good. Definitely still had some juice left in the tank at the end, but I'm sticking strictly to the program and not modifying it whatsoever.

It's only been three days with Agent-M and Purple K, but so far so good! I'm very much looking forward to 1/2 weeks from now when things should really start to kick in!

Cardio day today. Woke up and promptly took 8 Agent-M caps and 2 Purple K pills. Hit the gym around 12:30.
cardio consisted of:
20 mins on the Elliptical
10 mins on the bike
Approx 400 cals burned in total.
Worked up a very solid sweat and felt pretty good at the end. I'm relatively new to the Elliptical machine, but I like it so far - really feel it in my legs.
Tomorrow will be a good day in the gym, I can feel it

Sorry for not posting yesterday! It was very hectic between work, hitting the gym and rushing around trying to piece together a costume for my GF's Halloween party. Anyway, I hit the gym last night and had a GREAT session. I felt like a machine - minimal rest time between sets, great focus and I felt strong all the way through. I was very pleased. Let me break it down:
4:00 p.m. - 4 Agent-M caps
4:30 p.m. - 2 Purple K pills
4:50 p.m. - 4 capfulls of Clearshot Concentrate
5:15 p.m. - in the gym
Workout went like this:
Squat (ATG)
1) 5 x 95
2) 5 x 115
3) 5 x 140
4) 5 x 165
5) 3 x 190
6) 8 x 140
BB Bench:
1) 5 x 115
2) 5 x 140
3) 5 x 170
4) 5 x 200
5) 3 x 230
6) 8 x 170
BB Row:
1) 5 x 85
2) 5 x 105
3) 5 x 125
4) 3 x 145
5) 3 x 170
6) 8 x 125
Assistance Exercises:
2x Weighted Dips (using a dip-belt): 55 lbs x 8 (2 sets)
I felt great throughout the entire workout. I had to cut it a little short due to time constraints, which pissed me off. But, I felt very solid and at the end I was quite pleased with how the whole thing went.
Today and tomorrow are rest days, so I won't be hitting the gym again until Monday. Until then, I'm going to sit back, relax and watch the Phillies put a hurtin on the boys from NY (sorry George!)

As I said yesterday, Sat and Sun are my days off. Yesterday was Halloween and it rained nearly all day. To make matters worse, the Phils got pounded by the Yankees - damnit, George!
Today, things are looking slightly better: The Birds are up by 16 on the Giants and the Phils will come out lookin to exact some revenge!
Anyway, as for the log: Yesterday and Today I took a full serving of Agent-M (8 caps) and a serving of Purple-K (2 pills) upon waking up. Water intake has been solid and my diet has been on point (I did have a cheese steak last night for a cheat meal ). Tomorrow I will be back in the gym and can't wait!

LOL, phail!!
Nice defense on the Damon steal!
Lidge has another meltdown!
Yankees up 3-1 and looking to close it out tonight, although it will be tough with Lee pitching for the Phils.
The Eagles look good and the Giants look like shiat!

Man, I couldn't believe what I was watching last night. After the Feliz game-tying HR, I though "OK, here we go!"...then boom, we piss it away. Covering third on that play was so utterly crucial - and basic - that I could not believe we let that happen. Then, Lidge did what he did all season and promptly gave up hits/runs. Sigh.
Well, it ain't over yet I believe in miracles. 3 game rally let's gooooo!
Ill update tonight when I get back from the gym.

2) 5 x 140
3) 5 x 170
4) 5 x 200
5) 5 x 230
BB Row:

Workout notes:
Overall, pretty solid workout. Squats went quite well, though I struggled somewhat to get the 5th rep on BB bench at 230. Focus was good, energy was OK (not great). Tomorrow will be a very busy day so I'm not sure if I will be able to find the time to get in some cardio. Regardless, I will update manana!

Day 9
Woke up and immediately took 8 caps of Agent-M and 2 Purple-K pills. As I said yesterday, today was VERY hectic and I did not make it to the gym to do my cardio today. In other bad news: I'm working from 7-4 tomorrow, then from 4:30-9 I will be putting down flooring with a friend of mine. As such, I won't be able to hit the gym tomorrow either...weak sauce.
However, I will will do my weds workout on Thurs (11/5) and my Friday workout on Saturday (11/7). Then, I will hop back on my regular schedule on Monday (11/9). Granted, I won't get my usual two days of rest, but I don't want to get my schedule all mixed up.
More to come tomorrow!

First off, I apologize for not updating yesterday. I got home later than I though from my job, and promptly went to bed (I was soooo freakin tired!).
Thankfully I was able to hit the gym today. My schedule looked like this:
7:00 p.m. - Pre-workout meal + 4 Agent-M caps
7:30 - 2 Purple K pills
8:00 - 2 scoops Superpump 250
8:15 - In the gym
Workout
Squat (light):
1) 5 x 95
2) 5 x 125
3) 5 x 145
4) 5 x 145
Incline Bench:
1) 5 x 95
2) 5 x 115
3) 5 x 135
4) 5 x 155
Deadlift:
1) 5 x 160
2) 5 x 195
3) 5 x 225
4) 5 x 255
Assistance Exercises:
3 sets of weighted pull-ups (+25 lbs)
3 sets of abs (leg lifts)
Time in Gym: 45 mins
Water consumption: 40 ozs
Notes on workout:
In spite of the fact that I downed two scoops of SP250 prior to working out, I just couldn't seem to find energy during this workout. I still managed to hit all the numbers, but I didn't have that drive that I normally due. I attribute this to the hours I've been putting in recently as well as the fact that I feel like a cold may be coming on In any case, I'm hitting my numbers every workout and am feeling pretty good about that! As I mentioned in my last post, I will be back in the gym on Saturday, then on Monday I will resume my normal schedule.

Normally I workout in the evenings, though I decided to hit the gym after I had breakfast. Schedule looked like this:

10:30 2 Purple K Pills
11:00 4 caps of CC concentrate
11:15 GYM

5 x 115
5 x 145
5 x 170
3 x 195
8 x 145
BB Bench:
5 x 115
5 x 145
5 x 175
5 x 205
3 x 235
8 x 175
BB Row:
5 x 95
5 x 115
5 x 135
5 x 155
3 x 175
8 x 135
Assistance Exercises:
Weighted Dips: 3 sets x 8 (+60 lbs)
BB Curls: 3 sets x 95 lbs (8,8,4)
Skull Crushers (e-z bar): 2 sets x 95 lbs (7,4), 1 set x 65 lbs (8)
Time in gym: 65 minutes
Water consumption: 50 ozs
Notes; GREAT workout today. I felt very strong the whole way through, especially on the squats (3x195 went up like pie). I was very pleased with this as I am still doing my best to regain the strength in my legs (damn lower back injury!). The benching went well, as did the rows and I blasted through the assistance exercises to finish up strong. Very pleased this afternoon! Tomorrow is a day off, though I will be back in the gym on Monday.

i noticed a SIGNIFICANT decrease in DOMs whilst using Agent-M. I confirmed this immediately after i finished my agent-m. the first week post agent-m felt like it was my first time in the gym, in terms of DOMs.
