Crosby has really been impressing me this year. I don't understand the hate most fans of other teams have for him because he really is earning that C. First that fight with Zidlicky when his team was down and needed a boost, and now a sliding crotch save on what would otherwise be a goal.

36 goals in a injury filled season. If hE played for Toronto you would say a 50 goal man, keep telling yourself Toskala is tradeable though. He has less value then Theodore and guigere, the other multi million backups

You are aware that some players don't take half a season off with an injury, they play hurt. Sharp was injured the second half of that season, but with half the team hurt during that stretch he played thru it

Being on a good team DOES explain why they score goals. My argument is that Huet is on one of the best teams in the Western Conference if not the enitre NHL. Yet he is still posting terrible numbers and essentially losing games for Chicago.

You suggest trading one of our top goal scoters with an incredible contract, to Toronto for a goalie who is technically nothing but a career backup with a 4mil cap hit. You also don't explain how that helps us since we would still gave huet, and send down niemi who I think is better than toskala. It doesn't help our cap problem, and it doesn't help our goaltending. Do you see my point?

I do see your point about the cap hit but if Chicago is going to win this year they are going to have to improve their goaltending situation. Which I think Toskala would be an upgrade from Huet. I guess we are just going to have to agree to disagree on that point. What the hawks would do with Huet I don't know, trading him is always a possibilty. They wouldn't get much in return. Maybe include him in the deal with Sharpe.
