I was being somewhat sarcastic. We can get down to the basics though, Boot Camp,Where the shiet all starts, What branch even compares? All other boot/basic are a joke comparatively speaking. Now im not saying the people are better, Because there are the same amount of idiot Marines as in another branch.

Have you seen an Army Nat guard? Air guard? Disgusting, Marine Reserves are squared the **** away.

We wont even get into ranking. Not trying to start a flame war. What i was trying to say is was our Discipline>>>>>>>>all other branches, That's what we still have going for us. Maybe i have it all wrong? maybe im just blinded by pride.

ive worked with Marines, Army, and Navy.

Nat guard disgusting? tell that to VApump and the unit i was with in iraq, or the unit here in hawaii that is the most decorated army brigade.

Marine Airwing? ever work with them, they act the same as navy and army mechs. Marine reserves squared away, ive seen plenty that arent and plenty that re?

not hating on anyone or anything. but ive been attached with every single branch. and i can tell you from experience they are all the same relatively speaking.

oh and when i say attached i mean attached not joint excersize.

dont drink the kool aid guys.

just cause boot is harder doesnt mean anything at all, Army boot is hard too, esp osut.

Eh.... my ******* is still puckered from the whole situation still.... the case is "inactive", basically its done for but can be continued if the person in question wants it to be. And lawyer fees suck ass.

I plan on seeking the council of my elders this weekend, i.e. informing the parents/ seeing if they'd be willing to help out should this be continued.

Obviously there are good ones, But what i've seen/heard tell a different story, I respect anyone that serves. The whole point of my post was that the hazing/thrashing is good and should be allowed. Again, Im sure Army Boot is "hard" But they have gotten soft in the last few years.. IE not being allowed to yell at recruits. Granted, my experience is coming from mostly serving with other field grade officers in a training environment, but there is a very noticeable difference from everything I have seen working along Marine 2nd Lts vice Army, Air Force, and Navy 2LTs and Ensigns. While there are exceptions to the rule, the Marines, as a whole, tend to exhibit a professionalism that far exceeds what I have seen among the others.

If you disagree, thats fine. I'm not trying to persuade you, I'm simply going by what I've experienced from my time.
