Phil's arms look amazing standing next to any of today's pros
He also has the best forearm development and overall shape in recent bb history.
(In before Lee Priest... in before Frank McGrath... in before general retardation and lack of understanding of what a decent physique looks like)

Even Dexter's arms hold up in size and beat him in density and hardness. And Dex has never had arms that anyone put at the top of the all time best.

Heath hasnt reached his peak yet so you cant compare them in that way.
I know what you're saying about him standing next to other pros. But i feel the 'wow' factor only disapears when he hits anything other than a most muscular or side tri. His arms absolutely have the 'WOW' factor in those poses and not many pros, if any can compete with him there.

Phil arms beat Branches arms. Phil please tell branch how to fix his arms and Branch maybe you can show Phil how to train legs.

Every pro has a great lateral head...don't see long heads much like Demayo's.
but Winklaar could make the step.
|
pic of demayo was taken at the 91 jr. nationals I believe, he beat Levrone at that show.
from what I remember his life just spun out of control...sad story.
lee priests arms are better than heath's IMO but heath still has great arms.
ronnie had great arms-bi's are still great but doesn't he have a tri that is almost non existant?

hmm. Last I heard, he said he would still compete, but never in another Olympia. Am I wrong? It would be sick to go to next year's O and see big Ron for my first time, on stage.. No matter how battered his body is..

Thing is though Phil's legs match his upperbody so hasn't any need to bring them up hugely, where as Branch's arms lag behind.

i think branch brought his arms up considerably, especially considering he tore his tricep. his arm development is slightly behind his legs just like phils arm development is slightly above his legs.
in before pics aren't scaled right and branch is closer blah blah

Branch has some of the best legs since Platz, Phils forearms dwarf branches, however Branches upper arms ae a lot bigger than they look, not much/any smaller than Phils but Phils look bigger. Branches calves and quads own Phils.
If Branch has better forarms his arms would look a lot more pleaseing to the eye.

I didn't read the thread, but if we are comparing ronnie's arm's to Phil's arms, than that is just retarded. Ronnie owns Phil in the arm department. Ronnie had 40 lbs on Phil in his prime.

QFT...but actually, probably closer to 60lbs in his 2003 incarnation.
Phil does have incredible arms though. Amazing shape and really full round muscle bellies with nearly perfect attachments. His hands clasped MM is amazing.

Due to the structure of his arms they look great in any MM. Side tri looks good aswell but he doesnt stand out as much in the front double Bi, especially when stood next to other big men.
