lol. i thought it was only me. the gas thing holy hell every 5 mins and it kills the area.
is this caused by the veggies? i dont adjust i stay like this all the way through, but in the end the reward is worth every serving of veggies u ever ate. stick to it dude and enjoy.

When I'm in that kind of situation I just eat as soon as I wake up, then whenever I am hungry after but wait no longer than 2.5 hrs btw meals. If I'm hungry an hour an a half after a meal I'll have the next one.. If I don't get them all in before a decent bedtime, f-it.. I'm on a cut anyways.. Go to sleep.
However, those were the days when I didn't care for optimal results. So instead, now, I wake up in the morning rather than the afternoon.

Hi there,
I am not planning on participating in any kind of competition. My goal is to get my BF% from the current 30% to something like 10 or 9%, no matter how long it takes, and the Cut Diet is been great on helping me achieve this goal. I am doing cardio, weightlifting and everything...
So, my question is: after the 16 weeks in the CD, can I keep doing it until I reach that BF% goal or do I need to give it a break and start it over after some time?
Thanks

yeah man, I have the worst farts. I am in the bathroom at least twice a day too. I like it though becuase I know my body is being efficient about getting rid of waste. And yes, holy hell this is a lot of green veggies. I am wondering what the checkout person at the grocery store is thinking when I am buying 4 big bags of green beans.
I am on week 3 right now. Lost 4 lbs initial week, now back up a couple. I really want to be at around 7% or lower BF

weight loss
My first comp. will be in june. I am on week 2 of the cut diet and I have seen a 3% loss in body fat and quite a few inches but no scale weight this week. How long before I see scale weight? I am happy with the diet. I am currently 140lbs and 28% body fat and on the 1500 cal meal plan. I follow everything as written including all supplements except the protien powder because the only one I like is Isopure. oh I will be competing in bikini or figure. I am undecided on that but leaning toward bikini.

The weight loss on the scale should kick in around week 4... but no worries. If your BF% is down than all is good!

awesome thanks. Just freaking out a little cause first show and all everybody says I look awesome. I am down from 165 and like over 35% bf (not exactly sure how much). Did that all on my own so now I am following this diet with high hopes and determination. Since I am competing in june and the end of my first cycle on this is feb 26th. How long should I wait before I cycle back on to this diet? I am competing in the NPC Greater Gulf States on June 26th.

Really depends on how close to your goals you are in Feb. You could do CD til Feb. Then transition to a modified CHA. At this point you may want to keep the CHA or go back to the CD for the remainder of your prep

Pics of 140 lbs, 35% bodyfat? You sure it's not 25%? 35% is typically obese.

Ask Derek, I bet you could still keep losing by dropping to a lower calorie refeed and then a lower calorie plan if you hit a plateau. Unless you are approaching a place where you want to maintain. But just shoot him an email if you're part of Team Scivation.

I was not at 140 I was at 165 at 35%. Currently I am 139lbs and electronic monitor says 26% bf but Body composite says 19% I will try to post before and after pics if I can find them. I have lost 12 in off of waist and 9 off of hips and put on a ton of muscle for a girl since I am typically meso body type.

I am only getting ready to start week 5 on this diet but i am very happy with it and the exercise progrm that goes with it. Gulf South here I come. OH if I keep putting on mass this easy do you think figure rather than bikini? Thanks.

I don't think you have to make the call right now.
I'd see what you look like a little closer to the show, then decide what category your physique is better suited for
