you cant really blame them for having an owner willing to spend the cash, that said, it is hard to get behind a "team" that cherry picked from around the league, not very "team" like. Id like to see them go back to the days when the developed their own minor leaguers and people from those towns really knew the players..

LOL... i liked drinking from a young age as well.
We used to steel it from older people, then mix it with whatever we had and drink it out of a Mason jar. We would call it _____ Swahili, depending on what the mix was.
My fav was grape Swahili.

Salary caps in baseball would be nice, but isn't there some kind of legislation, exclusive to baseball that prevents it? Anti-trust laws maybe.

i don't know the laws of it but it's something that should be addressed. you could hear them bitching all the way to Newark. lulz
they put out 2x and 3x what most other teams do for players so yeah that's fugged up for sure.
