I think i need motivation
So guys this is weird and the first time i need motivation but here we go.
So last week i took the entire week off. This is the first break i have taken in at least 4 months so i figured i needed it. Well i feel ok, kinda ****ty almost feels like i have lost size but i know i haven't.
Here is the kicker, i got sick today and cant ****ing make it to the gym. im worried i might not make it for a nother 3 days or so.
You think i will be alright, or will i start to decline in size and strengths already????

Your body is not going to change...you will be alright...getting sick yes is a set back but an easy recovery to get over. If you mentally say hey my body needed this break then your going to be fine...your not going to lose 30 lbs and lose your mass...just know that you can grow from this.your not going to change one damn bit!...get well soon btw too ^-^.

Dude sometimes its mind over matter....Focus and center yourself from within....tell yourself...My gains.... which I made from the sweat of my brow are mine and I choose to hold onto those gains....Visually go through the motions in your head..basically take 5 minutes a day to mediate on your routine for that day....see yourself completing it...then tell yourself I completed my lifting for today....it may sound like new age thought but seriously...it will work for ya...if you truly believe it will....Lastly your sick...don't feel guilt about it...eat well, rest and take care of yourself.....Hope this helps man.....Self

u should b good man kuz i just got over that same thing got the damn flu and a whole i kouldnt get it in but now its on soon as u hit the weights u gone b ready yes sir

I definitly wouldn't worry about having the flu for a few days. you took a week off awesome!, hope you enjoyed it. The damn flu nailed ya, ur gains are not going anywhere. Try your best to not be calorie deficint, depending on your symptoms, that can be a difficult but regardless 3 days... hell even another week ud be just fine.
Just think about when this flus over with how much Metal your gonna throw around the gym! your gonna Lift to failiure upon return.. balls to the wall and get better gains then before you took your break! Woot! Im getting excited for ya actually haha.
