haha this. i dress similar but here in virginia it kinda gets real bad out with the mud and crap so i try avoiding using my lighter shade of sperrys and keep wearing my leather ones at least they fight the cold and such.
striped sweaters +1
cardigans +1
scarves +1
beanies +1
i love the winter, gets you out of the norm of chinos, shorts, seersuckers & polos.
oh and brahs about to pick up this wool sweater from VV
what do you think?

Hate that. I believe it's called a tennis something or other. So when you're playing tennis or doing something active it won't untuck itself.
Not all RL polos are like that though I don't think.

Yeah, that's my fav. place to go because it's the place with the best waves that's closest. I have a 6'2" Surf Rx, a 5'10" Orion (too small for me in Texas due to weak ass waves) and a 5'5" Gordo handshape(too small now as well) and my dad has like 3 longboards (a Becker, a Channin, and some ****ty homemade one) and then we have a funshape.
lol, we got like 2 grand worth of surfboards. The Channin is like a 500 dollar board.
And the waves generally suck unless it's the winter or there's a hurricane somewhere in the gulf. Hurricane Katrina = epic waves. Felt kinda guilty surfing some of the best waves of my life in perfect weather while a couple hundred miles away people were getting buttraped by this hurricane. lol.
Here's a pic during Katrina down in South Padre
Sick.
It wasn't that big where I was in Corpus (Bob Hall Pier), but it was still big and breaking waaaaaay the hell out there. Some guys paid a guy with a boat to take them all the way to the outside because paddling out there = damn near impossible. We had to catch the waves at sandbars closer to shore. But by closer, they were still like 300 yards offshore. Ridiculous. If it wasn't for the rip current next to the pier I'd have never gotten as far out as I could.

You surfin' in the Great Lakes brah?
People do do that too, but if you surf then you know that already.
Do you surf?

What do you guys think of the plain tommy hilfiger polos? I got one the other day, the XS fits about the same as a custom fit RL medium. I actually quite like it, the lapel is a little longer than the RL polos which i think is a little bit more casual/trendy, and they also dont hang long at the back.

About 80 bucks with shipping. Haven't bought it yet. Just made the down payment on my classes next semester so I'm going to put it off until my next paycheck on Thursday. I hate having less than $500 in the bank (yes poor misc brah).
I can't find that site you linked to. Can you repost the link?

That's why I bought mine. I was just amazed at how ****ty of a winter jacket it was considering how well it sells. My under armour hooded sweatshirt was almost as warm and less bulky.

lol at this auction
http://cgi.ebay.com/The-North-Mens-D...item3a5476226e
"please tell the size you want after won"
"If you payment ,Please tell me know your need size immediately .Thanks."
Then I saw "Item location: beijing, China"
Fuuuuuuk that.
EDIT: all these f@gs are shipping it from China. $70 bucks w/free shipping is a good deal though. Too good to be true? Feedback is all good with fast shipping except for one guy bitching about a fake leather jacket or some ****.

Brahs,
Can't embed since I'm at the office but I was thinking of getting a heavier jacket for the colder fall/winter weather.
It's a tie between JCrew's tweed blazer and velvet blazer. I'm thinking the solid grey tweed will be more practical. Might look good with a bright blue/green gingham shirt, with a knit tie. Light jeans would work well, and the gray blazer would work well with black or brown shoes...
Here's the tweed:
http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/Mens...7972/17972.jsp
Here's the velvet (always wanted a velvet one):
http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/Mens...1027/21027.jsp
Which one should I get?

anyone recommend some good jackets for tall guys? I love north face denali style, but whoever does their sizing thinks that the larger the person the WIDER the person, im 6'4 200 lbs I need a long THIN fitting jacket.
That goes for all other articles of clothings as well if you guys could recommend.

Opinions?
How do you guys feel about argyle design? I was looking at this Lacoste argyle sweater
Do you guys wear scarves? I usually wear mine when it's a bit colder out along with a pea coat and a beanie of some sort. Do you think it's too much?
Also how about cashmere? I know it's a bit more pricey but it's great material.
