Upright rows-
EZ curl bar with 17.5 on each side. Probably weight- 55lbs
10 x 10 with good form and timing.
I'll go heavier next week.

Cliffs: pick the right weight you can lift the target number of reps, and as fast as possible move the next heavier weight.
Perform 20-30 reps
Perform 6-8
Perform 1-3.
Goal here is to totally fatigue all types of muscle fiber in a given body part.
Bicep curls-
EZ curl bar, narrow grip
50lbs x 22 80 x 6 100 x 2.
Second set, normal shoulder-width grip
50 x 21 80 x 2. Done.
I had the radio playing in the gym. This came on in time to nail the curls:
Product notes: Cotton Candy does not even taste like a supplement. Its more like KoolAid. I gotta get a hold of the Pink Lemonade flavor they have coming.
I had great, wonderful energy for this workout. I was honestly 'in a rage'. Its was great.
Sweat like a Texas flood. I was dripping on the floor after those upright rows. Again- it felt great.

Rob, you echo exactly my thoughts on this product.
Ive NEVER used another supp that compares with the aggression. Also, it may be the best tasting preWO supp out there, I do believe the pink lemonade will top it though.
Each new flavor of Methyl Mass has truly outdone the predecessor and then some.

Dosage: Plasmatic 1 hour prior, 2 scoops of MethylMass 30 prior. Right on schedule.
Cardio-
Elliptical machine for 1 mile. Took me 10:25, a minute faster than last time.
About halfway thru, this came on the MP3-
Not the hardest song ever, but it did the trick and got me MOVING. Or maybe that was when the MethylMass kicked in.
Either way- my cardio went from 'phoning it in' to 'BRING IT'.
Chest- warm up- Flat BB bench-
135 x 15, 10
Flat DB bench-
75 x 8 85 x 7 95 x 5 (failed trying for 6) Front delts were sore doing this. At this point I could tell I was not 100% today.
Incline BB bench-
135 x 10 165 x 8 185 x 6
Hammer Inc press-
Drop set. 70 x 8 50 x 4 40 x 4 30 x 5.
Seated Arnold presses-
35 x 9 40 x 8 45 x 8 First set felt heavy. It took me a bit to find my form. And, I lost it on last set (sloppy).
Seated BB Shoulder press- Ooooh. I have not the freeweight version for a while. The Smith machine has made me weak. I'm not even gonna post my numbers.
But I will do this again next week (When I find a problem, I wanna fix it).
EZ bar OH extensions-
70 x 4 ouch.
60 x 8, 5
Rope pressdowns-
42.5 x 7, 7
Notes-
Good workout. I took my time between most sets. Form was mostly good, strength was average.
I felt great: good motivation, mood and focus.
Pump was great. Even wearing a tight undershirt I felt swole as hell.
T-booster effects of MethylMass are building.

Dosage was right according to plan: Plasmatic 1 hour prior, 2 full scoops of MethylMass 30 prior.
Cardio:
6 minutes on treadmill to warm up for the elliptical. Got my mile in 9:34. (PR! lol)
Workout: Squats-
135 x 8 185 x 8 225 x 6, 8
Deadlifts-
195 x 10 245 x 8 295 x 6
Couple sets of light BB shrugs.
Machine legpress-
250 x 10 300 x 10 A couple was camped out on the conventional legpress. I subbed the machine, it did NOT feel good.
My knees felt a mess after the leg presses. I cooled down with about 6 minutes on a recumbent bike.
Tunes:
MP3 player is always on random. I had Metallica for squats (Disposable Heroes and Breadfan), and this for my heavy deads:
Notes:
Cardio took away a lot of my mojo. I was plenty strong for my lifts, but not overly energized. I felt I could go heavier on squats and deads; maybe next week. I'm reeeeal careful on these movements (I'm old and fragile )

srsly though, how long did it take you after the hernia op before you were squatting and DLing again. Also, are you as strong on those now (7 months post op if I recall correctly) as you were prior to surgery.

My deads are very close to where I was, just a few reps short with the same weight. Squats still bother me the most, I feel a pull in the incision area. I'm about 20% off the old weight.

I used to be all about the PL type lifting, I never cared much for doing more than a few reps.
O well, wish I would have gotten it taken care of sooner, I had it for yrs.

that is impressive....that is one of those things I would tend to baby for a long while.

I played the hernia card for quite a while. One day I said 'F it' and stopped letting it be an excuse.
But I'm careful: I move up in weights very slowly and I'm not ashamed to use my weight belt a LOT.

Dosage- new idea here. I wanted to stagger the stims, hoping for better duration and intensity during the workout.
I took 3 Plasmatic caps and 1 scoop of MethylMass 40 minutes preWO, and again 20 minutes later (20 minutes preWO).
Cardio:
10 minutes on the treadmill, easy pace.
Workout: BO DB rows-
warmup-
60 x 10
65 x 8
working sets-
75 x 8
90 x 8
110 x 7
I took a break, went back on the treadmill for a few minutes.
Yates rows-
135 x 8
155 x 8
175 x 6
Wide grip latbar pulldowns-
120 x 10
140 x 8
160 x 8
180 x 6 I didn't worry about holding the contractions this time, I just used normal pacing.
Hammer Iso row- weight listed for each arm
90 x 9
135 x 9
160 x 6 Normal hammer machine, loaded with plates, not a pin selector.
Farmers walk with DBs
75s for 5 steps
85s for about 35 steps, 2 sets.
Notes:
Staggering the Plasmatic and MethylMass seemed to work well. I had good energy, focus and aggression the whole workout. I'm very happy with this routine and my numbers. Pretty good Monday.
Note- I got to the gym about 7:30PM, Monday night. Gym was busy with...a lot of goofballs. I could make 10 posts in the "THAT GUY at the gym" thread.
