cold weather ='s hot coco

Unfortunately now that the cold weather is pretty much here it's hot cocoa time! But the hot cocoa I find at stores are full of sugar. Does anyone have any good healthier recipes for hot cocoa?

I just picked up chocolate chai. It's in tea bag form, I just brew add stevia and steam and froth some ff milk. So much better the coffee shop chai, not loaded full of sugar and high fat milk.

some info:
carob is very nutritious. Carob contains as much Vitamin B1 as asparagus or strawberries; as much niacin as lima beans, lentils, or peas; and more Vitamin A than eggplant, asparagus, and beets. It also contains Vitamin B2, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and the trace minerals iron, manganese, chromium, copper, and nickel. It contains approximately 8 percent protein and is a good source of fiber. Compared to chocolate, carob is three times richer in calcium, has one third less calories and seventeen times less fat.

Just buy a tub of Dedicated Woman's Women's Whey (chocolate flavor of course). I actually started a thread about it once saying how it tastes just like Swiss Miss hot cocoa mix, so much so that I was inspired to mix it with hot water instead of cold water. It works extremely well in hot water, and you can't beat the nutrition profile:
27 g protein, 1 g fat, 2 g carbs

Even my husband was fooled into thinking it was the real thing

MGN's whey protein powders have xanthan gum mixed in and it gives the shakes a really fluffy, thick texture if you use a stick blender. I bet you could start with the Cake Batter flavor and add some spices (and rum) and come out with something pretty similar to eggnog!

Swiss Miss makes a 25 calorie hot chocolate mix -- it tastes OK - albeit not very nutritious, but it curbs the cocoa craving and for 25 calories, it won't kill ur day. Just don't add more than 6oz of hot water or it gets really watered down.

I have this stuff and I just mix it with 20oz of h20 so I get more out of it and add some splenda..sometimes I even add a little sugar free vanilla so it's still just 25 calories but really fills me up and is enjoyable to get some chocolate...
