After uploading you need to click on "make this default av" or something like that.

The vote in Maine just failed... 53% of Mainers do not want gay marriage... 63% of Mainers voted to legalize marijuana dispensaries.
Bunch of fuking hicks. I think im going to move to BC now.

I heard that on NPR this a.m.. What an unexpected setback!
I've always said there is a lot of "fake acceptance" of gays in this country. When voting privately, one's more base instincts take over.

I know it doesn't have the appeal of your wall-mounted black dildo, but cut him some slack. He's good dog although a bit high maintenance.

UGH, Maine and California voters.
I still firmly believe there should be a mandatory IQ/Personality test before people are able to be registered to vote.

Democracy only really works with an educated electorate. And this country is more preoccupied with being famous for worthless reasons and "how to get mine" than anything else, so we're ultimately doomed until the next revolution whenever that may be. That IQ test should also go for breeding. A sterilization device should be inserted into all newborns until the age of 18 has come and a written test can be passed. Yes, the test taker and would-be-parent will have to be able to read to take the test which I'm sure would create an uprising.
Trvl is right. Many people feign their support for gay rights in public because we live in a society where political correctness has obtained an obsurd level of importance that people dare not risk being seen as uncaring among their contemporaries instead of just being honest.
That's interesting to see the marijuana measure pass and not the marriage. If you buy into the notion that pot smokers are left leaners on the political spectrum, then you would also have to buy into the belief that just because you're a democrat you support gay rights, and that is just horse apples. This is a shining example of that. (as always, "you" is a generalization and not pointing to a particular person here).

It's sad to me. Perhaps I'll never witness true equality for gays? Gays will always be a minority. What is it, 3% - 4% of the population is born gay? With those numbers, it's always going to be a challenge. I tend to think folks inherrently realize that gay rights are correct, but ultimately don't care because they aren't gay.

This dude is a huge tool..and actually probably just really smart. I just caught his visit to 'The View' -- Whoopie tried to pin him down and make him explain why he's "against gay" --
This guy is so typical....he's only "pro money" .... people are such sheep...he probably isn't against gay.....he probably doesn't even believe there is a god...he's just preying on the sheeple and their simple minds

Its closer to 10%... 4% of the population are actually born with ambiguous genitalia, that's a surprising statistic
I've have heard on 3 separate occasions that people voted yes, out of spite, because they were "annoyed" by all the commotion for the vote no on 1 campaign (no = support gay marriage).... These two guys at work were talking, one said "did you support dude on dude action".. the other "hell no"... Its like its a game to them. I wish people would stop and think about who they are effecting rather then needing to portray some super masculie, definitely not gay image for themselves.

I've kept tabs on him for years. He could fit right in as a supporting role with Kurt Russel in the movie "Used Cars". He is so fake on the exterior, there's really no point in delving deeper into his scheming mind. But the again, sheeple who follow religion tycoons like Joel and the 700 Club bafoons deserve to be ripped off and misled. Those guys are the "Christianity for Dummies" - great for all those that want to find religion but just don't want to put the real work into it and need a quick way to justify their own hate. Do you remember his abusive wife attacking a flight attendant last year or so? It had the TSA, FBI, etc involved because it was on a flight. Funny how that just vanished. Hmmm payoff?
We've got our own homegrown fool here, Rod Parsley from the World Harvest Church. If it's not his pulpit rhetoric that he vomits trying to steer the congregation's choices in election voting to suit his needs and beliefs, it's his creepy Chris Hanson stories he tells about his children coming into his bedroom at night asking if daddy will "anoint them." These are the people that are saying "NO!" to gay rights. Why not? We're certainly not members of these rip off clubs paying tithes to the disciples of Chase Manhattan, they have nothing to lose and more ignorant sheep to gain.
Ok, enough coffee and keyboard access for the day
