I'm going to get an Inzer belt. 10mm or 13mm?
Its time for me to belt up. Which size is better to get? Also, I wish bb.com sold them. :/

Unless you plan on competing in a PL meet, a 10mm is fine.

Even at 10mm, my Inzer belt is very stiff and wearing it is like being locked into a section of metal pipe (and I mean that in a good way). I imagine the 13mm might be handy for guys with enhanced circumferences...

I have the 13mm Forever Lever Belt and love it. 10mm would have probably been thick enough.
The only downside about the lever belt is that it's not a quick process to change the size. So, you can't share the belt with other people, unless they're the same size as you are. I like it because I can put it on and just flip the lever off/on between sets.
As mentioned, it's like having a chunk of iron pipe wrapped around you. There's no give to it at all.

I'd go with the 10, as a matter of fact I did go with the 10. Like those guys said that's more than enough. Inzer belts take a bit to break in, but soon it will be like a close friend.

He means you are 3mm bigger than someone who needs a 10mm. I would take it as a compliment.

I bought the 13mm Inzer belt a while back. My first thought was holy crap! What did I get myself into. After I broke the belt in and figured out how to latch and unlatch the belt, then it became another piece of equipment.
WARNING this might not be the recommended way: Breaking in the belt took about a week. I soaked it in the tub overnight once, then flexed the belt over and over again every day for a week.

Thank you all. I'm going with a 10mm lever. Now, to find someplace (not Inzer) that sells the belts...

What I'm saying is, if you're like this guy:

then you might appreciate a thicker belt that stays rigid even though it's quite long.

Ya, I think Jeff Lewis might want the 13mm. Most people are OK with 10. I know they were originally marketed as the womans competition belt, but I think it's way past that now.
