It's been almost a year since I have lost a pound...
Back in June of 2008, I was 19, 5'5" and 178 lbs and 24%bf. I caught a horrible flue of some sort which lead to me dropping about 3 pounds. That flue triggered a 4 month motivational diet, in which I lost nearly 30 pounds. I began to hit the gym harder than I ever had the previous 3 years and am still gaining very positive results. However, my weight has gone up a bit. Some of it is muscle, but some is not, as my face has gotten a little fuller :/. It is now November of 2009. I am 19, 5'5" and 158 lbs and 16%bf. I started a cutting diet for the first 2 weeks back and have seen NO results. I am really frustrated. I just don't know what to do anymore...
recheck your diet, high protein low carbs
maybe you're eating more kcals then you think by not moderating all the kcals u eat
also try to do more cardio and look into HIIT (high intensity interval training) and supersets
you should be able to break the plateau
you could also try to do keto-diet but that requires a lot of discipline (the results pay off tho)
My opinion ...its your diet...I routinely log what foods I eat...it gives me a sense of knowing what I'm doing right and doing wrong pertaining to my diet...Be honest with yourself...if you think about it...you should be able to figure out what your doing wrong man.....Self
Dang, the tyson vid and the henderson vid and the ray lewis vid show that the professional's level of dedication is orders of magnitude beyond the average person.
Makes me realize what I need my attitude to be in order to be great.
