^^^Thats my GT, I just played my first game today, lol. You'll probably kill me but whatev, I try not to get mad at this game, broken too many controllers
As for tips
When your the defense and the offense gets into the redzone, just use your base 3-4 or 4-3. What allot of people do is call 4 wide outs and most defenses will come out in dime. Then they just run it. But if your backed up into the RZ you dont need to cover as much space so your LBers will do the job instead of a bunch of DBs
Crossing patterns are pretty much unstoppable
If you're doing a punt return, control one of the guys in the middle that's blitzing and bring him back to the return man, that will give you an extra blocker
|
agreed on the crossing pattern. i run opposite slants, with the ravens kelly washington crossing derek mason and mark clayton i either audible to a fade or leave him at slants
kelly washington's usually open for a 10-15yrd play if not mason can be open for a 20-25 yard play or you can dump it off to your half back

TE drags also work well, especially if you have a good TE
The wildcat works pretty well
When you're inside the 5, pound the ball up the middle 1 or 2 plays, and then do a toss play to the right or ledt, you'll usually score
Goal line fade does not work, it usually gets picked off and run back for a TD

I never play online, I just do seasons on All-Pro bc I like to stat-whore.
LE is SOOOO easy to get sacks with, use the right analog. Thru 12 games, 30 sacks with Manny Lawson n 28 with Will Smith (fantasy draft)

I can play whatever. But usually stick with D-Line or LB.

I was ****ing around once and used the 49ers...
Patrick Willis is a machine. 99OVR, 99 block shedding, and he's fast
Pinch together the D-Line and have them crash in, then control Willis and any running play, up the gut or to the sideline, you'll be able to shut down without giving up more than 3 yards

Perfect play to stop the wildcat: LB ram dogs
Also I love drag routes. They take some time but a quick receiver usually gets open with plenty of space. On D I like to use zone blitzes or just cover 2 on obvious passing downs.
