Srsly. The whole common sense thing gets me into a lot trouble with some people around here. A few months of my life in a dozen countries as first hand experience is certainly better than the gullible people that believe what people seeking ever more power over us little minions. I'm all about some enormous changes to health care. But what's proposed is not it. What's proposed is putting the problems of the US health system on steroids.

Nice attempt at flipping the script, but a sad failure. Ever read any health literature from the last 100 years? I have a BS in Nutrition if you have serious questions.

nice try but fail.
No one is denying them anything, just because you cannot afford something does not mean that you are denied it, I want a nice house on Hawaii overlooking the ocean, but I cant afford it, does that mean I'm being denied it? of course not.
btw taxes on those things go to pay for a far more social tampering than the medical cost of those individuals, as well as the fact that those individuals are still well within a right to make a large portion of money and pay their own medical expenses to take care of themselves for their high-risk lifestyle.

It's not a matter of blaming just the insurance industry or govt. It is both in collusion. Calling health insurers "private" nearly makes me wet myself from laughter. They're the middle man, a private money collector of govt run health care in the US, as is. Just saying.
I'm not completely against govt getting involved in healthcare. If we had something more like the Swiss or German systems, I'd be ecstatic. The proposed US system being pushed for by Congress is corrupt and inefficient.

LOL @ people thinking that a higher life expectancy in countries with government healthcare is an argument for government bureacracy.

What? You support health care reform that isn't status quo or the Obama care plan?
How can you possibly support something that doesn't pigeon hole you into 1 of 2 camps? This disallows the false dilemma fallacy. Negged again! It's either:
A) status quo
or
B) Obama care plan
There is nothing else! Negged! Negged! Negged!

Just wanted to say that the UK may be 36th but i blame Scotland. It drags the UK down. They have more crime, a much lower life expectancy with some areas the life expectancy being in the late 50's from smoking, drinking and bad diet etc and im sure i heard that Scotland costs the UK more than it contributes.

And so does not having access to healthcare. If you want to call out others for saying correlation = causation, then at least don't make the same stupid mistake in your own post in the next line.
