Eventually Rogers would sign in the UFC for a huge contract and face Lesnar/Carwin.

I think the more casual MMA fans would go berserk, while the "hardcore" MMA fans would be a bit startled but, wouldn't go crazy.
I mean he hasn't lost in 9 years (technically). I love Fedor to death, but losses in MMA are inevitable.
BTW, if Fedor does lose, I will be off of these forums for at least 2 weeks.

The consequences could be disastrous!! Fedor is known in every corner of the world as the Greatest MMA heavyweight Champion...no one will break his 9 year undefeated record in my opinion.MMA as we know it would never be the same..its simliar to the US being overtaken by terrorists..no one wants it to happen and hopefully it never will.

Scientists believe that the loss could trigger the end of the world. The collective tears of the world would melt the polar ice caps flooding the world and leading to the rise of Kevin Costner aka The Mariner and we would be under the rule of Smokers.

I think I'd say "Damn Rogers can hit hard. Still, I reckon Fedro takes him in a rematch."

this forum would be overrun with 10 threads a minute on the same topic going on about how overrated fedor always was...i dont really like being on these forums right after any fight it gets so out of hand.

Much like the various stages of grief, there would be various stages of internet turmoil.
1.) Fedor didn't really lose: If it's a decision the judges robbed him, if it's a KO Rodgers cheated.
2.) Fedor lost, but Zuffa/The Ufc/Dana rigged it: Dana slipped something in Fedor's drink, you idiots couldn't tell that Fedor wasn't himself? lol mma noobs. Bet you started watching because of TUF didn't you?
3.) Fedor is the 2nd best fighter in the world, Rogers is the best: "lol, strikeforce has the two best hw's, Lesnar sucks, they'd both kill him. I'm actually happy about this, it will help break up the UFC monopoly. It's all about the fighters brah!

Well unless you have a different view of casual than i do I have no idea what you are talking.
I think a casual fan is the guy who just orders the fights with his friends and drinks beer and hopes to see someone get his ass kicked. And for the most part anything outside of the UFC is foreign to them. I think the "casual" fan prob doesn't even know who Fedor is. If anything, the hardcore fan will lose it.

i think what we will hear is 'it was bound to happen sooner or later' because everyone loses, its MMA. Fedor isnt getting any younger. in fact the chances of him losing are greater every time he fights.
i dont think there will be as many excuses as some think, though. Depends HOW he loses, really.

I would cry -srs- and be away from internet for a few weeks. I have no problem with fedor losing but losing to such an inferior fighter like rogers would just be awful.
The fight I'm more worried about is against ubereem next year, that guy has been looking fantastic and imo has most legit shot outside of ufc of beating him.

Fedor won't lose until 2012, and 7 days after he loses the entire world will be dead.

it would be extremely dissapointing to watch a guy like Fedor who we all know win or lose is a way better fighter lose to a guy like Brett Rogers, who hasn't even proven himself to be a legitimate contender.

He beat the last guy that Fedor beat, in half the time. He may not be proven, but he's the best person they have to give a shot to.

I would just assume he earned the win, simple as that. Everyone's beatable. Saying that, I'd still bet everything I got on Fedor this Sat, and yes I'm a Fedor fan.

i wouldnt come on the MMA forum for atleast a good two weeks cause I'd be reading every single thread about it, all the rumours and I'd basically fail school for those two weeks.
just the thought of him accidently getting clipped by rogers makes me rage cause it would be 100% pure luck and nothing else
