I seem to remember that Brian does paint a mean set of toenails and his hair braiding is unmatched among ghey hairdressers in the greater Honolulu area. Silly little Samoan.

I hate days like that. My last couple days of snatching have felt exactly like that!

The better question is why is the rant a hollow shell of what it used to be? I look at it every so often and decide there is rarely anything worth responding to.

No kidding. I stopped posting in there for six months, recently came back, and everyone is still so "meh" about everything.

I can't even accurately describe what I don't care for about the rant, but it doesn't "do it" for me.

Last few workouts have been less than stellar as I've been a little sick. Started out as allergies now it's settled into my sinuses and chest.
I'm not missing any reps on stuff so I'm not worried about anything yet but the workouts leave me pretty worked.
Tonight:
Incline - 145x7 (last week 140x6.5)
Horizontal Pullups - BWx12,10,9
Pullovers - BlueBandx15, 45x10x2
OH Tri Ext. - 50x10
Skullcrushers - 85x12
EZ curls - 85x15,12
L-lateral raises - 35x10
Changed up accessory stuff this week. Last week I did Chins, Neutral-grip DB Floorpresses, & band facepulls.

Glad that I am not the only one with the same problem. Took all of last week off because of it. Still congested in my chest. Sucks.
Nice deads last night. High rep deads FTL.

That's some good volume, Moz, plus 330x8 is no joke.
Keeping decent form on sets of 10 can't be easy either.

Well, since every third person here is from Texas... I say the chances of this being true are pretty high.
Or someone likes to check out the girls on Bodyspace
Or the guys

Last couple. Because I can.
Last Thurs. Bench Day 5/3/1:
Bench: 140x3, 160x3, 180x6
P. Rows: 135x6, 155x6, 175x6, 185x6, 195x6
SS w/
DB BP: 40x10, 45x10, 50x10, 50x10, 45x10
Finishers: Hammer Curls run the rack, Floor Press strip set
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Monday night, Combined squat & incline days:
Front Squat: 140x3, 160x3, 180x5
Incline Press: 120x5, 140x3, 155x4
SS w/
Band Facepulls: RedBandx10x3
Comments: Took it a bit easy on the FS. Used wrist wraps for the first time on the inclines. Made them much more comfortable/stable. Will use wraps on my top sets of any pressing from now on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last night, Deadlifts:
Deads: 275x5, 315x3, 350x8
Comments: Tricked myself into thinking that I did 340x8 for a tough set last week. Figured it shouldn't be that hard to match the reps w/ only 10lbs more. Cranked them out, last one a bit of a grind. Looked in my journal, did 330x8 last week

Life and schitt:
So, the wife is sick again. Has been for a week and a half. The doctors are convinced that it is her gall bladder. Very likely that she'll have surgery to remove it next week (thank God it's a deload week).
I have 2 days I still need to do for this week @ 5/3/1 reps. I'll probably combine them as Friday will be taken up by work then getting the wife in for a scan of her gall bladder.
Not sure if I'm going to start another 5/3/1 cycle after Thanksgiving with all that is going on. If I do, I'll combine the days so I have 2 days/week and can adjust from there if things aren't as crazy/sucky as I think they are going to be.
So it'll be:
Day 1 - Deads, Inclines & DB Rows (Kroc)
Day 2 - Front Squats, Bench & P. Rows
Optional Day 3 - Accessory movements or complexes
Another cycle will put me deloading for Xmas week and I'll probably take the week between off as well.

We are inexplicably linked, you and I.
I could accept that much easier if it weren't for your foam roller aversion.

What's a foam roller?
I think that we are linked some how. This will settle it for me. Do you eat bread? Because I do and if you eat bread too then there is definitely a link.

Depends on what kind of bread you are talking about. Or is it just bread in general, as in bread products?

I hope that if they operate that does the trick for your wife. She has suffered a lot with all this getting sick crap. And it can't be easy on you either.
Moz, you've gotten quite strong, maybe more on lower body and especially the deads. Think it's more roidz, Cressey magic, finally getting the routine dialed in or what?
