Meal replacement bars/shakes a good choice for extra meals?
It's pretty much impossible to get more than 3 meals a day for me. I'm trying to get 6 smaller meals a day, but I don't know how. A blender isn't an option and there is nowhere to cook my own food, besides a microwave. I was thinking that in between each of my normal 3 meals a day, I could eat a meal replacement bar or drink a shake of some kind.
Would that be worthwhile money wise/result wise? Or maybe there's something I can buy in a store that doesn't require any preparation thats just as good? This is for weight training by the way. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

In short "yes", as long as you are still getting in protein/carb rich solid meals throughout the day

If there's a will there's a way to make food - sandwiches don't require much preparation.
However, MRPs can be a good substitute if you pick the right one. Bars are very convenient, but are often just glorified candy bars with some protein added.
I personally recommend and use Prolab's Lean Mass Complex - it's a real meal replacement. 40g PRO and 40g CHO, complex carb sources, and already in individual packs for convenience.

If not on a calorie restriction, prolab lean mass is a great way to go, but if not, prolabs n-large 2 is MUCH cheaper, has 200 more calories, lotsa BCAA's, and more carbs. Its cheap and packs on the mass without too much fat.
MHP's up your mass has great macros too BTW

N-Large is a gainer rather than a MRP, and will clear faster so you can eat again soon; Lean Mass Complex will digest slower and keep you fuller. It really depends on the metabolism and goal. Good idea though.

This is very true. I plan on buying some lean mass come springtime, cause i am impressed with n-large 2.... tastes/mixes great with shaker.

Well the 3 meals I get are pretty balanced, and I'm taking a good multivitamin as it is. So instead of the Meal Replacement option for the extra 3 meals a day, could I just take the Mass Gainer option instead and have those servings from that count as meals?
I'm only 145 lbs. and have a high metabolism, so I'm not worried about fat packing on. Just looking for the better option here.

I suggest Cinnamon for Lean Mass.

N-large will be the more cost efficient option, and fine for an ecto like you. I'd use 1/2 serving 2x/day in milk if possible. The most important thing is overall calories. Do you know your daily intake? Check out www.fitday.com to see where you are compared to where you need to be calorically.
