how long do you have for LSAT? if its like the OAT, which i took, then it might be a better idea to study for it and keep the job for now, but then maybe try and take the week off leading up to it just to study hardcore for it. with school and LSAT, theres only so much studying you can do in a day and keep absorbing material. and i dont think you wanna give up a three-fold salary increase lightly.

Thanks bro, appreciate all the great suggestions
Balancing act is not easy but got to keep doing it
As for the promotion, I will not know if it is in the bad till the end of this month or beginning of next. And yes, salary increase will definitely help with savings

Weight Still in the 252-255, and I have to admit I have not been working to hard for it. Not trying to excuse because there is no valid excuse, I just got to do it.
Work out I need anyone that wants to suggest to me a good workout that will take no more than 45-60 minutes and seriously still feel like a good workout. I am at a crunch for time... the cardio I can just crunch it in but I need the help with the workout. I am running outside now in the freezing cold... can you say CRAZY!
Diet This week my diet sucked, and I know it. About 3/4 of my meals have been either restaurant or fast food. I need to plan better.
School and Work Classes are going good and work is ok. I am up for a promotion in January wich would be a nice bump in salary (it will be double close to triple my current salary) but will also consume more time. I am having enough trouble managing everything as it is. I won't know till the end of this month or beginning of next month if I get it.
-> And me quitting work is also a possibility (my wife and family want me to do it) so I could focus more on school but I feel with everyone struggling as it is, what guarantees my wife will not lose her job when I decide to quit. So that is definitely keeping me from actually quitting.
That should cover it for now

I can't believe you are running outside! I was pissed to see it was 25 this morning. WTF? We had no spring, summer, and now no fall.
You're doing a great job balancing everything and your priorities appear to be where they need to be right now.

Here's the old running rule, when it's 20 below, ya don't go. Sure it's crazy, but so is only working out when it's comfy.
Hang in there on the job, I lost mine, so now I'm in school for business since I just started my own & need to know what to do. Like I used to tell the guys at the office, no headache here equals the stress of now knowing how you're gonna pay the mortgages and take your kid to a doctor.

Cardio: 45 minutes jog/run outdoors
Notes: Need gloves if I am going to keep on running outside... my hands/fingers were freezing.

Carl, they sell under armour gloves that will wick the sweat from your hands away. I have found they work the best as once I get going my hands feel pretty nasty. Not that I run much outside in winter - I hate running as it is!

What time will you be there? I'm either gonna be there late afternoon or after work because someone schedule a lunch meeting.

Hit us up with some workout and nutrition updates at least. Not having a scale is fine; I'm down to once or twice a month weigh-ins too. By now, you should have a feel for where your maintenance level is and how many calories you need to eat (or not eat) for you to lose fat.

just an idea carl, you could weigh yourself in clothes before you workout at the gym...yeah itd be heavier than normal, but at least you could track whether or not you were losing weight, even if not accurate.

He could probably weigh himself in his underwear. The scale in my gym is literally right next to the showers, so it's not like there aren't naked old men around anyway.

Carl, even if the scale isn't totally accurate, as long as you're using the same scale you can at least track weight loss consistently. Work with what you got, you're smart. Oh, and CRUSH those LSATs. Always remembering that standardized tests were made for the people who wrote them to pass them and feel good about themselves, not other people, so don't judge your worth by your score as long as you give your best.

Have to look for the one in this gym, probably located at the same spot.
