Going by that rationale you could say Phil is wider than the two chairs behind him.

We're joking around! But the back edge of the donut box is a lot closer to Heath than those two chairs behind him.

LOL, Ronnie's arms don't blow Heath's away. His biceps are better sure, just like Darrem's. But overall, Heath wins because he has a better bracialis(sp?), triceps, thickness, and forearms. Phil probably has the best bracialis of any bodybuilder ever, hence why his arms are so thick (because it actually pushes the tricep and biceps outward).

SKIDOOSH!

Most people even pro bb'ers have a good bit of tendon between the muscle and the bone. Some, like Heath basically just have nothing but muscle all the way to the joint.

his upside is unreal

The thing is that the taller the person is, the more impressed I am. Phil is no giant, but he's taller than Lee.

This.
Lee Priest is not even fully grown yet, he is an Oompa Loompa, arms 2 inches long. Not a fair comparison.

when did I ever compare them in my post??? all I said was that because this is a great arms thread lee deserves an honourable mention, which he does deserve because regardless of height he still had kickass arms. no need to get so defensive

Heath's arms look the best in every pose except for the front and back double bi. They look awsome but not nearly as impressive as they do in most muscular or side tri poses.

I don't agree, they look fantastic in any pose specially in both most muscular versions if any they look slighly less impressive in the front double biceps.

I misread but they still look awesome in the back double bicep not quite as massive as they appear in other poses but you can appreciate all the detail in that pose.

AGREED.
just think if he didn't retire...His triceps would of been in a league of their own.
he's a 'young pro' in that pic? and his tris are better than dorians, levrone, Heath, and priest imo.
Every pro has a great lateral head...don't see long heads much like Demayo's.
but Winklaar could make the step.

Great shot of Paul there. You don't see that condition anymore either. Shame guys these days don't push themselves to get into shape.

Put them next to each other in their peaks and Coleman would easily destroy Heath's arms. Look at it from an objective point of view and you'll realize that while Heath's arms look outstanding when he's standing by himself, they lose their "wow" factor compared directly with other guys. Even Dexter's arms hold up in size and beat him in density and hardness. And Dex has never had arms that anyone put at the top of the all time best.

this. olympia pictures also showed kai's arms are a good inch bigger than phil's and that was with phil standing closer to the camera too.
lulz at phil having better arms than coleman. phil easily has the best brachialis i've ever seen on anyone, but overall his arms are not better than ronnie's were back in the day.
