(((sheepishly raising hand)))
I didn't do so good :/ -- but I'm back on the wagon today and had an awesome HIIT session at the gym -- so I'm forgiving myself and moving on
I'm a recovering sugar-aholic --- Halloween to me is like New Years Eve to an alcoholic - srs.
Good job on keeping the damage to a minimum

Ugh, I had one Reese's peanut butter cup shaped like a pumpkin but I have a bowl of them sitting on the counter. Even worse, the holidays are coming up... Eek! I need to do whatever it takes to stay thin.

Just plan your cheat meals around the Holidays... there is nothing wrong with enjoying all the yummy foods. Do not become obsessed at not eating anything outside of your plan. If you eat good 90% of the time, then you're allowed to have all the extra things you enjoy.

I had one vodka cruiser. A bit disappointed with myself about that. 176 calories of nothing
Still within my calories for the day, but not the best.

I ate 'white' carbs--sushi rolls made with white rice, hot & spicy Kimchi soups packed with noodles, and even some dreaded 'Flamin' Hot Cheetos.'

Honestly? I was HORRIBLE. To be fair, we attended a 65th birthday party for a family member where my absoloute fave family foods were made. To make matters worse, we stayed with family in the boondocks, meaning the only food available again today (my non-cheat day) was that same food
Just to kick myself in the pants, I entered it all in thedailyplate to force myself to see what I just did to myself. Let's just say it goes up to around 3000 calories. Both days. KICK ME NOW. Did I mention I'm not exactly bulking so that's not a good thing

I'm so happy to have read about everyone's eff-ups! Well not "happy" that everyone effed up a little -- but that we are HUMAN!
Since becoming a member of this site earlier this year, I was convinced that everyone was perfect in their eating and workouts --- its nice to read that we all mess up from time to time (and i'm not talking about an extra ounce of sweet potato or chicken) I'm talking about the good, old-fashioned junk-food fest.
I needed to read this going into the holidays - since this is notoriously my toughest time of year to stay on plan. My goal is to maintain through these cold and food-filled months.
Thanks to everyone who shared their "ooops" with me

Weeel, not great, but Halloween is the day after my b-day, so I usually just count it all as my b-day treat and move on. I had a big fat wedge of carrot cake on the friday, and a slice of hoeycomb cheesecake at my meal on saturday....back to normal today wishing away the bloat!
If you can have a treat or two for your own birthday, when can you?! P

(soooo good) and some candied sweet potatoes... and ... oh god- I should stop! But I'm back on my chicken and brown rice today! Hopefully things will get back to clean- I feel so much better eating right!

Actually I ate a couple pieces of candy on Halloween. So not much, but I'll each a couple pieces of candy out of my daughter's trick-or-treat bag every day (hey, she's good about sharing :P). I usually allow myself small "treats" daily anyway so I just fit them into the rest of my plan. No damage done.

I didn't do a darn thing for Halloween. Had a bad day and didn't go out.
BUT, friday night I cheated and had mexican and a 22oz beer! Was delicious and definitely fulfilled a craving I've been having.
Thankfully for me, I don't crave candy or sweets - just the salty stuff! :P Halloween never did a thing for me as a kid, just like now. I used to give my candy away so that it wouldn't go bad.

Halloween was exactly one week out from my competition date... so I was good and planned a photoshoot to avoid temptation.
HOWEVER, there is a jar of mini candy bars on the counter at work and I was just joking with my boss about how I wanted to lick one just for the taste and then throw it away. I am definitely gonna steal some of it for backstage after the show.

i've been cheating since the beginning of the month.
--> the calories i'm not concerned w/, as i'm active as a motherfcker. but it's ruining my face, sleep, sex drive, & energy levels. =S
i'm not sure what's wrong. but i'm pretty sure it's my mind saying "enough w/ the healthy crap. gimme gimme gimme!" but @ least my lifting is still epic. the last time i went off the rails, i stopped exercising. =/
--> i haven't noticed any affect on body comp., though; i.e.: my clothes all still fit just fine. & mentally, the break is nice. & i don't feel guilty, as i'm really active. but it's affecting my internal organs; should be getting out of this rut fairly soon, i imagine; i hope.
on saturday (oct 31st), it wasn't too bad.
on sunday (nov 1st/yesterday), heh...s.o.b.; let's just say that i genuinely felt bad for the weights this afternoon. shti. i tore them a new one, alright. (...& i'm gunna feel bad for my toilet tonight, too. )
meh. feels good, man. i haven't touched anything "dirty" since april '08 (1st hamburger & french fries since then! tasty as fck, those things are. ) as i said above, the calories i'm not concerned w/, as i'm active as hell, & it doesn't seem to be affecting my bf% whatsoever. but it's ruining my face & energy levels. =S i predict that my body will say enough is enough any day now.

el oh el. that's it? dude...that's nothing. 3k isn't even a lb. you also forgot to factor into your metabolic rate/any walking you did that day/etc.
i ate a lot yesterday, too. but my metabolic rate is a lot higher than your guys's. & i doubt it was over 3.5k (1lb) that i ate. so, i don't even care. i just feel a little grossed out physically 'cause there's a lot of stuff "waiting for departure" in my colon right now. xD & my muscles feel all achy from all of the sodium. =S
