Wow! What a great night we all had together!
Not even the rain put a damper on our evening.
I am so proud of Evan....since he was born I have had such a loving and fun time with him.
and now last night, more of the same!
I thought I would be very emotional (crying) being this is Evan's last game at CHS.
but I think I got that all our of my system these past weeks leading up to this night(and the final days of HSchool).
And I am Now looking forward in sharing Evan's Adult Life together....more Fun to come!!!
I didn't cry, In Fact, I was beaming from ear to ear.
My glowing exterior of Pride and Happiness shown through to the newspaper photographer....SERIOUSLY!
I 'willed' him over to Us.
As we all were lined up on the football field...all us parents and senior children...I caught a look at the photographer...and just smiled and thought to self: "oh please come to us and take our photo for the newspater."
AND HE DID!
LOL
I had two great surprises/gifts from Evan last night.
One: I learned that he will be making plans on attending Erie Pennsylvania Triangle Tech for Drafting. Yesss!
Second: Evan caught an interception and ran it all the way for a 30yr Touchdown!! Whoo-Hoo!

Have a great day Joan and wish Evan a fantastic game! Don't hold those tears back...let em flow! You deserve to !!
|
Well.....I am quite sore...so walking is a bit of a comedy for me ...But this is ok, because I love to laugh! LOL
BTW: I love your smile...and knowing why your beaming is heart-warming to me!

Good workout, nonetheless, and about the mirror thing, I do that too sometimes.
Our whole weight area is surrounded by mirrors and I always think I.m kindda weird because I.ll take a little peak at myself and think: Hmm, not bad at all! and then look around before I give a wee little flex :P I.m guilty!
|
I am happy you and your mother have a good relationship...this is a very important thing to have with each other. I wish you both the best in the years to come! Enjoy and Experiance everything together with love!
LOL laughing at the mirror flexing...this is a good thing

Evan's last game? Wow, how time flies! Like someone else said - why hold back the tears??? This is the good stuff! You are supposed to cry

Thank you!
It's great seeing you again!
(looking at your bodyspace page) I think you have beautiful legs! Keep up the great work.
What are your plans in term of bodybuilding?
Goals?
I have to take this day one minute at a time....I'll let ya know what happens.

Good morning Joan
I had to visit since it seems like you have a "memorable" moment with Evan this weekend - a transitional phase - soon to be life changing with him moving onto college life and adult decisions I am so happy that his last game was a great exerience ... and woohoo for being picked to be in the local newspaper!! I love the photo of the three of you!!!
Hope things get better with your sister too Hopefully she comes out on the other side of this having learned something - sometimes when you are in thick of a situation, you can't see what is going on or gain your perspective - just keep loving her and supporting her even though it is hard and you don't agree with her choices - she will hopefully see the "light" soon
Have a great day!!!

Moisy *hug* you always say the right things in the right way. Thank you!
I have come to grips with the fact that Evan is going to be an adult soon....and I am looking forward to sharing his adult life with him. The transition will be made and I am ready, willing and able to encounter his every new foundings...Good and not so good (but praying for ALL good )
Thanks for your input on my sister...my gosh I pray she sees what is right.
She obviously made up her mind....and her husband has come to accept that she doesn't love him anymore.
I was heart-broken when I was leaving their home on Sat...knowing it is the last time as a 'family'. I felt like I was loosing a brother-in-law....but J assured me not to be upset and that me and Randy are welcomed in his home Anytime..in fact he encouraged us to make it a fact that we visit from time-to-time.

With that, I pray for my sister I pray for J and I certainly pray for my little nephews....I hope the rest of their lives are as stable as possible.
..and the story continues I am sure...lol
oh sorry for babbling....just wanted to get it out of my head for a moment...and you seem to be a caring kind-of-gal I could talk to. Thanks..and CHEERS!
How's your school year going in your new school?
I'd love to hear all about it!

Eric does drafting? Great!
Maybe I (we-Evan) could use you/him for any questions or suggestions, if a situations calls for some.
I don't know what Evan plans to draw, I never asked and he never told....heh!
Positive for sure... ~~Positive Vibes~~

Hi Joan!
Wow I feel terrible, I have not been in here for a while! I am glad to see your workouts are still going well! Sorry to hear about your sister - that is tough situation, but I will be thinking of you It can be hard sometimes to support people when you don't agree w/ their decision...but I think you are doing a good job at handling it.
Hope the rest of your day goes well! Great leg workout!

Emily and I made our costumes....as we do every year.
This year we dressed as Characters from the new movie coming out in 2010....
Tim Burton's "Alice In Wonderland"
I was The Queen Of Hearts.
Emily was The Mad Hatter.
We went to my nieces Costume party....what fun!

I feel a change, Nov 2nd.
Happy Monday!
For most people...Daylight Savings (in autumn) means an extra hour of sleep.
For me...it means an extra hour awake
I could hardly stay awake past 6pm....I forced myself to keep my eyes opened at 7-7:30.
*sigh*
I blasted my legs ....again
I was thinking of changing-up my routine (which I am still thinking of doing) but I decided I still need to get my ATG 'perfected'...I just started them not too long ago, and I think I owe my legs a chance to 'get built' with this way of squatting.
LEGS
ATG Squats- Smith
100: 13
105: 11
110: 8-8
Front Squats- Smith
60: 11-12-12-12
Extensions
185: 12-12-10-11
160: 14
125: 18
Smith Press -- Using Smith for pressing is not as good as a press machine. I do my best, even tho it's awkward. My lifts would be heavier on reg machine, but I do my best with what I have.
200: 15
205: 12-13
210: 12
BB SLDL
85: 12-12-13-13
DB Plie Squats
60: 17-16-16-17
--Ugh! Ouch!
CALVES
Standing Calf Raises
2x toes in
2x toes out
Smith Donkey Calf Raises
4x to failure
--Good Burn!

Thanks to both Serine!
I will let you know.
I do cardio for cardiovascular health...a strong healthy heart.
Last evening proved that with having a daily regimen of cardio, helped me keep up with Evan!
BBing FTW!!
