I know what you mean and we do talk about it a bit. I'll see what I can do, but there's just so much dramatic stuff that happened THIS time, plus I don't have any footage from California that you haven't already seen. I think if you see how Kai and Oscar are interacting in Vegas you'll see why he felt lost without him in CA.

Still considering a title. It's NOT going to be "Road to the.." or "Battle for the.." anything! That's so overused.

u said its a SMALL documentary so i hope its a small price to purchase it or im out.

I liked Kai, but how about "The Calender Lied" for a title.

At kais age he better win an O soon. Everyone seems to think he is young. Is he not 39 or 40. He was born in 1970. You guys act like he is thirty and just started competing. He will be lucky to go 4 more years. Most guys retire before his age. I dont think he will win an olympia. Dont matter what I think but Jay is 3 or 4 years younger than Kai and everyone says he should retire. I think Jay will not let his gaurd down again. If victor dont bring it back I dont think anyone including Kai who is smaller and less conditioned can beat him.

Its a fair point, but age itself is not as important with the modern substances these guys use. Whats important is number of years competing before they start to burn out with issues like for e.g. receptors becoming less responsive to gear & similar probs with peptides.
Dont forget Kai was competing as a natural for many years & only recently exploded with size. Whatever anyone may think about the legitimacy his natural days, the fact is is was quite light before, & the risk these guys have these days before they hit the wall is specifically the number of years spent playing the mass-game.
In that sense Kai is much younger than Cutler.

As I approach the end of editing it looks like it's going to be about an hour and twenty minutes, maybe more with a few extras. I know that's nothing like the 4 and 5 hour marathon workout DVDs that you guys are used to but it's a legitimate length for the kind of highly edited show that this is.
The price is up to MuscleMeds. I have no control over that.

At least you know what year it is.
74 or 75 in Brooklyn.
Look up stats from past contests.

No limits were placed on me at all. It was up to me to decide how long the piece would be. I have included ALL of the good footage that I had. Nothing significant was cut.
There are several major workouts included...
Shoulders and traps
chest
legs (no squats)
arms and back
cardio
All of these are EDITED workouts. In other words, we are telling a story and the workouts are used to demonstrate some aspect of the story. However, I am aware of what BB fans like to see and trust me, there is plenty of good footage in this documentary!
If want you want to see is a Mits-style, raw footage, complete workout showing every set and every rep you will be disappointed. I do not want to make DVDs like that. There are plenty of good videographers out there who do that kid of thing. If you've seen my work you know that I am not one of them. However I am SURE that every fan of BB will find something to enjoy on this DVD!

It's July of 1975 or 1976. by his own words, he was 19 when he won a 1995 contest. i just dont know what month the contest was.
if the contest was after july 1995, then that means he turned 19 in 1995, which means he was born in 1976 and is now 33 years old.
if the contest was before july 1995, that means he still hadn't turned 20 yet that year, but would in july, and was born in 1975 and is now 34 years old.
actually, i'm pretty sure he's 34. just found an interview from 1999 that says Kai was 24 years old at the time.

I tried to get that on tape but he just couldn't do a squat workout the short time I was in Vegas. You will see why when you see the DVD.

I don't want to get in a big argument on this, but just a point- If he was 19 in 1995 he could've turned 19 in '94 and just hadn't had his birthday yet. But whatever, the point is he's definitely not 39 or 40.
