If you liked Imagine Me & You, you'll definitely like April's Shower and Saving Face.
QAF was fun and it was based in my hometown of Pittsburgh! You'd never guess it, but that was pretty accurate for the city.

I loved the Crow movie! One of my fav's!!
Hmm I will certainly have to check out those other 2 movies you have mentioned.. I live in a small town though so attempting to find them here is pretty pointless.. Nothing but a bunch of red neck small minded people where I live! lol.. It's pretty sad. One of my buddies had to drop out of her dart league at the legion because of all the gay bashing that was going on there. I say kudos to her for making a stand but it's too bad people have to be soo ignorant and she can no longer enjoy a beer and friendly chit chat with the other women..
Yeah I would've never guess that they portrayed Pittsburgh so well in QAF. I went through there a couple of summers ago on my way to Atlantic City.. I actually took a wrong turn and ended up in a shady part of town.. or at least I thought it was.. I have never rolled up my windows so fast before until that day.. Nothing like a couple of white chicks with Alberta Plates on the car cruising around what appeared to be the hood! Awkward!!! :l

Ha-ha! I bet you ended up in either my old neighborhood or one I used to hang around in!
We (PGH) have Pegasus (Babylon), Holiday Bar, Pittsburgh Eagle (leather), Real Luck Cafe, Liberty Tavern, Donnie's, and True. The only all girl all the time club closed (typical).
I usually get my dvd's from Wolfe Video. You should check it out...

Hey thanks for the tip about Wolfe Video. I have never even heard of it before now! Looks like a great site for purchasing some new vids!
I see they have the L word's final season on there for a decent price! Just might have to pick it up. I have to say, I wasn't a fan of the season finale! Was a tad bit daft if you ask me..
Hmm sounds like you have a variety of clubs to go to. Too bad the All girls club is closed. They usually don't bring in much business anyhow.. I find that happens around here as well. In order for me to go out for a night on the town and club it up "gayly" I have to travel 2 hours south to Calgary or 2 hours North to Edmonton. Calgary has a few clubs.. I mainly hit up Twisted Element there.. Edmonton has a "supposed" all chick bar but.... I see many gay men in there all the time... I guess they just can't afford to turn away business..
I certainly do love to dance at the clubs but I try to avoid them at all costs.. I am just too old for the drama that is usually part of that scene!

I hope you are flying into Reagan and not Dulles; if Dulles-good luck!
Besides the March and events, most of DC, especially around Connecticut and P, the Dupont Circle area is very gay...but the whole thing is great, as long as you stay in NW. Don't go SE, NE...those are pretty dangerous areas.
I went to Pride there every year from 1995-2007 and lived there for a year.

Skiing and running on the beach!
I know, I know; as much as I complain about living in SoCal, the good thing is within about a 2 hour drive of each other, you can do both!

Yah, it's pretty cool. I'm so URBAN it took me a minute to get into the out-doorsy stuff. One very nice thing is my new gym is open 24 hours and has a full workout area outdoors. The only time it's not open is when it rains, and that is only MAYBE a half dozen times a year!

I see this place is slacking in entertainment again! So.. only 64 more sleeps until Xmas! Maybe Santa will bring some new home gym equipment for me this year?!?
Anyone planning on taking a tropical get away vacation during the winter months?

Ha-ha same ole! I'm hoping for some accessories like a massage stick and some foam rollers!
No vacations this time trying to save-up for the biggie next year; Santorini or Australia!

Glee
Hey Ladies! What do you think of Jane Lynch's role of Sue Sylvester on "GLEE"? You may remember her as the civil rights attorney on the "L Word". She's so damn funny that even her most innocuous facial expression just cracks me up.
I also think it's cool that they cast a real life lesbian to portray, of all things, a coach.

Oh boy, she is amazingly funny. That dry wit and fine line between confidence and megalomania is a gas...I watched the first 2 episodes but keep forgetting it's on. I seem to always be home for crappy shows like Smallville...

It's one of my best! It was first coined during Bravo's "Workout," and we know who I'm talking about!
Have a great weekend...it's Halloween! I told a guy at the gym yesterday I was going to hand out oatmeal packets to the kiddies...he said I will most certainly get an egged front door...

That's so mean. [Note to self: purchase oatmeal for the brats] Love it. But why stop there? There's always those annoying tiny boxes of raisins.....you know, "nature's candy"?
I'm going to go for the opposite extreme: candy cigarettes. Or perhaps hits of Ecstacy.

LOL~
That would be great; it would probably have the same effect of all that garbage candy anyways...don't get me wrong, because I love chocolate, but only Ghiardelli, Godiva, and if there's no other option, Ritter's....
Hmm, raisin packets. yeah, thanks. I eat the oatmeal, not the raisins, so looks like I'll be heading to CVS this evening...

So how did the oatmeal work out?
I, on the other hand, lost all sorts of control on the Halloween candy front. I exhibited severely compromised portion control abilities.
