How Long Will it Take to Go from Chest Pressing 55s to 90s?

I'm doing this exercise twice a week. What is the best way to achieve getting to 90s in each hand by doing 3 by 12s, 4 by 10s, some other combination? Should I go the heaviest I can?

Am I weak for only being able to do 55s right now?

ROFLMAO. Anyway, man there is no best way. I see you only have 6 posts, so haven't been around for a while. Period dot, push your body harder. Meaning progressive steps. Going from 55 to 90 without a plan or scheme is a recipe for a torn pec muscle, or either losing control and smashing your face in because you can't handle the weight. Set goals....why do you have a 35 lb indifference right off the bat. Set it for 65's then so on. I probably don't have to tell you this, but your goals should be attainable, and measurable. I can't tell you how long it would take....depends on the amount of work you put into it. Incorporate incline for a few weeks. Try a program on here called 5x5 by some cow guy....I can't remember his name. I think madcow or something. Google that...search it...construct goals then execute.

If you can get 55's for 10-15 reps move up to the 60's. Then work on bringing up the reps until you reach 10-15 reps again then add more weight. Don't make it complicated. It'll take some time to get to the 90's but don't worry about it.

75-80's for 6-8. I'm not that great at benching, it's my weakest lift.
