it would be cool if you could bang the early mourning milfs. I can see it now. You walk in to the gym, stop in the middle, hit a big whopping FDB, all the sudden a milfs hops off the stepmill and starts blowing you down right there. AWESOME!

it can be a joystick waggler, like you waggle the stick ferociously to build up strength while benching (like breaking the rock in Mortal Kombat) if you get over a certain bar you enter "ROID RAGE MODE" and can become impervious to damage to rampage for 60 seconds
also the joystick waggling can be used during the Pro-BB interview, when asked if you use steroids you waggle the joystick to shake your head

Some good ideas guys, I have an addition to the original concept, the game would also have virtual forums where you could post as a pro on forums such as bodybuilding.com, this side of the game would appeal to the millions of e lifters out there who would be able to get a real taste of forum life on the other side of being a fan.
I was very suprised to see this thread resurected. Maybe i should look for some venture capital. Ronnie are you listening?

Game would include 3D lifelike graffix that would stretch into as much detail from gyno, stretch marks and acne etc as well as muscle and bodyfat levels through to contests on stage.
To be successfull in the game u would have to plan diet and training and learn how to pose.
You would also need to take supplements and then chemical enhancement and u could only progress in the game if u got all this correct.
You would also have to apply business skills in the game to get sponsorship deals and there would be options for any other kind of businesses, how ever shaddy or legit, its your choice.
So the game would be like a kind of virtual bodybuilding expereince and could be played online.
It would be educational and the top players of the game would easily have the potential knowlwdge to be a competative bodybuilder.
Do u think this has potential?
|
sounds cool, think it might work better on a PC than a console system though

If you could combine the training and nutrition aspect into a fight game it could be.... okay
But bodybuilding???? We all love the outcomes, not the effort.

I don't own a video game console, but if EA sports designed an IFBB Pro game, I would go buy one just for this.

Agreed, it would be more boring than those tomagachi pets the japanese tried to con us into buying. You would lose much money on your idea.

That would be an option in the game but it could effect your chances of becoming an all time great. Imagine if Yates had done gay for pay, he would not be remebered for his lats alone. The game would be as real as posible in all ways and would help people learn bodybuilding.

It would cost way too much money to make (you need to include very explicit 3D modelled elements like veins, sweat, hair, skin tone, reflections etc) considering Bodybuilding is such a "niche" sport, it would never be cost effective to make such a game....
Also, it would only appeal to hardcore fans... who the fk would want to spend hours and hours just getting your bench press from like 250 to 260 over the course of a virtual week, or practice posing? Its so time wasting lol...

I had this idea too though. It would be strategy based game. You devise your workout plan or better yet hire top trainers like charles glass, rambod. You buy into their system and you go into training mode, you can choose to simulate days and go with the computerized training and diet schedule or you can make your own modifications first to each area you think you know better in and then simulate, through the weeks. You get notified of a potential injury or other things that may be going wrong and you can choose to take a break or modify some things or stay the course. The game would not say here are some steroids too take but they would be classified as advanced supplements and would cost extra as compared to the basic supplements. The real gameplay comes when you devise your posedown, practice and enter your contest. The pose routine practice and contest would have guitar hero type gameplay where you have a stream of button configurations to hit and the better you do the better your posedown is. Like I said would be a lot of simulation and strategy, very little game play, but for the people that enjoy bodybuilding it would be a great play. Also included would be the endorsement deals and all that.

Oh yeah I forgot to add that you dont really actually do the lifting the workout plan is devised by you or your hired trainer and you have the option of still editing your trainers plan, adding sets reps, and weight to whatever you want when you feel the need too. The game sims through the workout, if you add too much weight you obviously wont be able to do the pre planned sets and reps for that particular lift.
