So if you're on the couch, laying down with a blanket watching a movie you still have your shoes on?

Not gonna matter after someone's been roaming around all day. Especially women who don't wear socks with high heels

If YOU put them on, and wear them, does that make YOU nasty as well? C'mon!!!
I remember one time watching an episode of Sex In The City where Carrie goes to a party and is asked to take off her shoes and leave them by the door. She does, and at the end of the party, she goes back to get them - and someone has stolen her shoes. So now, she's without her shoes AND has to get back to her apartment. She also asks the host of the party to reimburse her for the cost of her shoes (which were $500 shoes).
In my house, we wear shoes inside the house and it's NOT considered "nasty" by any stretch of the imagination. Walking around with bare feet is, to me, considered nasty IMO, they will carry all sorts of diseases and fungi and sh*t like that. Also, if you happen to drop something, chances are it will fall on your unprotected foot. Better to have your shoes on, than to suffer an injury.
Still - if you are in your house, you can do what you like.

I wish i could never wear shoes but gets cold in the winter.

This.
You guys don't have indoor/outdoor shoes at the very least, I remember going to a house party and there was litterally 150 pairs of shoes in the doorway..
how we do in canada.
