Sudden Loss of power? Help!
Hello,
I started a new workout routine 3 – 4 weeks ago – I started doing a following upper body circuit twice a week (plus 1 leg workout also heavy & twice cardio)
3 circuits x 5 reps
2 circuits x 8 reps
1 circuit x 10 reps
All was going fine, I started lifting heavier than ever before and saw improvements from one workout to another!
But now I kind of hit the wall and find myself without energy. I don’t know why that is – I am suspecting that the fact that I work out very early in the morning has sth to do with it? I usually have a coffee and a slice of toast with cottage cheese 30 min before but maybe that’s not enough time for the energy to be released to muscles?
Please help!

Well, it is probably because circuit training is not really good for much other than the most basic level of development.

This and probably not eating enough before your workout.

You can't expect to progress forever with the same routine. Especially if it's a crappy routine like the one you're using.
Also, the food you eat the rest of the day is vitally important. Having toast and cheese before you work out doesn't mean much if you're not eating the right stuff after you work out and throughout the day.

Do you have to train in the morning? You could try lifting at different times of the day. I for one am completely useless in the morning and can't get anything going unless I lift later in the day. See what works best for you.
Also you might want to look into a better program.
