You can always try the carb cycling, too, Keto! It is REALLY easy to stick to, and really flexible also.

That is great news! If it comes bacl on though- do not be discouraged, it can be water weight. Keto can do that and trick your mind all up, lol. Hang with it though.

Oh wow everyones coming along nicely, I just moved a week ago and started college last monday. Im sticking to my diet, and using the gym facility, they don't have a good weight scale tho so not able to update my ticker. I'll perhaps hunt one down tomorrow, or purchase a basic scale, don't need to high tech just accurate.

Or you can get a ticker that will show inches lost instead. Anything that works- work it.
In the meantime, I am feeling better and hope I do even better as the days pass on. The heaviness in my body is getting relief. I drank a small box of coconut water for the electrolytes in it. I hear coconut water has the HIGHEST electrolyte levels than any other drink out there, so I drank an 8 ouncer and it made me pee 4 times and that is not an exaggeration. So I think I found what I needed. YAY! I also juiced again tonight. I made a stronger green drink this time though, I meant business, lol. I have also been using raw honey, peanut butter and healthy carbs for a carb up. I have been very choosy. How is everyone else?

Eh well my weight didn't move much this month. Its still close to the same :/ Going to wait until the 31st for a official weigh in though.
I've always been tempted to do carb cycling but don't know much about it myself. I'll have to find some articles on here about it and check it out.

Yeah it wasnt my intention to carb up, but I got so sick for too long and had to rest myself, so I ended up doing just that- carb up. It's ok I am still in.

Was thinking about carb cycling myself. I'm only a few pounds away from my goal weight but still have a load of fat. I might start having carb ups and get in some really good workouts, try and get some muscle, instead of ending up with the whole "skinny fat" look. I'll stick with the regular keto for another week or two first though.

Marvel and Keto--There is an awesome article about carb cycling that I used to get started.
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/par30.htm
It will tell you just about everything you need to know, and it's specifically geared towards people like us that have a harder time losing weight (endomorphs and endo/meso).
If you have any questions about what I have done, let me know! It's SUPER easy to follow. No-carb days suck, but I always follow them with my high-carb day, which gives me something to look forward to and helps me make it through the day. I love how flexible it is.

Yes, last week of this challenge. My weight has nothing to show for but my inches did. I think the best part of this challenge were all of the spooky graphics. I am a very visual gal, so I was plenty entertained this month. For the Thanksgiving challenge I will be doing like Charlie Brown and you know- Thanksgiving stuff. I am doing some what better but still feel strange. Gonna go get some more coconut water today or tomorrow and finish using that as a diuretic so I can feel even better!

Thanks! Mmm fruits with carbs, my kind of diet lol. Read through both articles. Low carb days don't really seem low carb.. depending on your weight I guess.. 1lb per bodyweight then divided in only 3 out of 6 meals but then again that piece a fruit can make up for most of the carbs in that meal... No carb days sound hard... protein powders are out because they have carbs so mostly meat . Really thinking about trying this out

See if you can find a low-carb protein powder. There is one at Wal-Mart that is really cheap (and not marked as low-carb, but it's only 6g per serving if you just mix it with water). The no-carb days are definitely the hardest for me, but they aren't really NO carbs; just less than 20-30g per day, if I remember correctly. They have to allow for a few because even vegetables have carbs in them.
And you're right, the low-carb days don't really seem low-carb to me, either! Just keep in mind that as you lose weight, you'll get fewer and fewer carbs on that day.
At the beginning of doing this, I ate too many carbs on my high-carb days, so be careful with that, but otherwise, I think you'll love this!

I started back on P90x this morning, too...just the cardio part for now; will add weights back in once I hit my goal weight; that works best for me.

I was breast feeding my second baby with PLENTY of milk for her when I became pregnant again. My dr said it was fine to keep BF, but I got her weaned anyway, which took some time and was so upset that I had no milk for my new baby. I dunno what I did wrong.

Yes, that is a good idea. I should ask my sister to copy hers for me so I can be doing this stuff too. Parts of it are fine for me others leave me room to advance, so that way I do not feel like its way out of my reach or too tough to do for my size. I can definitely tweak what I do and how its done to make it work for me.
I cant believe the date.

I had low supply for a while, but found an herb to take that helped a LOT. My doctor did say to go ahead and wean her when/if I do get pregnant again. Hopefully she will be close to a year old by then.
Yes, you could definitely do a good portion of the workouts--they provide modifications for almost all of them, so even if you can do the actual exercise, you can probably do the modification. I have to do that on some of them, too. It is a WONDERFUL program.

I am just checking in and letting y'all know I have been in the hospital since 10/27-10/29 so my apologies for a lack of communication recently. I am not well at all, but was sent home being promised I would get better. Lemme get rested up and I will be back!

I am against dr's orders today. I was made to agree upon release of the hospital that I would not go home and exercise or diet, but just rest until my meds kick in, which can be a couple of weeks, but I had a keto breakfast. I will be careful to not go gung holio dieting until I feel better, but am not going to just let the diet ride.
Also, this is the last day for the Halloween-A-Thon! Turn in your weight loss results or inches lost results to me via private message by MIDNIGHT Eastern Standard Time. I will reveal the winner in this thread for you to REP.
NOTE: If the winner cant be repped by you at this time, please make note that the winning party is on your rep list. Thanks!
Don't forget that "The Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Shred" begins tonight at midnight EST as well, so be sure to get in that thread next and post your current results for November!!
Its been a pleasure meeting all of you and thank you for joining me in this contest. Have a happy and safe Halloween.

Didn't hit my target 1lb out. Still, 6lb for the month isn't too bad.

And, get well soon Keto

TY! Look at it this "weigh" Matt- You are 4 pounds ahead personally and so far the group has lost 10 pounds, unless more peeps stroll in here with their weight loss update. Good job.
