Hogan to TNA
Sources close to Hulk Hogan have informed us that he will be making a big announcement today at his press conference in Madison Square Garden scheduled to start in a few minutes.
Secretly, there were banners for both Spike TV and TNA being put up as a backdrop minutes ago in MSG.
Sources close to the situation say Hogan has inked a deal with TNA and that more will come out in his announcement. Hogan is believed to be not the only big name signed although he may be the only one announced today

This might be a dumb question, but what ever happened between Hulk and WWE this time? Last I remember he was on his show saying mcmahon wanted to sign him for life etc. I know it obviously didn't work out but what happened?

The Bisch is on board too? Let's just get Judy Bagwell and we got ourselves a promotion!

I'm jizzing everywhere...
UPDATED: According to Pwinsider.com, Hogan and Bischoff coming into TNA does not mean that they will take the reigns of the company. Also, even with Hogan and Russo's past, this does not mean that Russo will be pulled from power. There are SPIKE TV and TNA banners up at the press conference and Jimmy Hart is with Hogan. Until today, the signing was kept a secret to even the inner-most members of the TNA circle.

I hope that if Jimmy Hart has any mic time at the press conference, he screams through the megaphone into the microphone.

Hogan means A LOT of media exposure. This might boost TNA's ratings. Also, it will be neat so see Hogan wrestle guys like Styles, Joe, Angle again, Lashley, Morgan, Foley, etc.
I'm sure he did it for the money, but he probably has that itch to get back in the ring.
Now the real question is, since Hogan has signed with TNA, is Flair next?

Maybe it's because I'm on a pessimistic kick today, but I see this as a horrible thing. I don't think Hogan came to TNA to put people AJ, Joe, Hernandez, Lashley, et cetera over. I see this as other example of the stars staying in the main event forever, and the young guys never getting a chance just like WWE.

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon yet, but if this is done correctly, Vince and Co. may be in some SERIOUS trouble. Kinda funny that TNA's next PPV is named "Turning Point", as today just might be THE turning point for TNA.
But I'll see what "iMPACT" this makes first before I make any real judgment.

WWF vs WCW round 2. But i wonder what Mcmahon is thinking right now. Dont see how bischoff, hogan and russo can work together, hope a wcw type of implosion doesnt repeat itself.

Hogan is one of my favorites!
but this can be very good.....or very bad!
He could help younger guys, that would be good.........or if he takes control then its bad!

I see two possible outcomes for this .
1. Hogan just went to TNA for money and is gonna pull the same crap he did in WWE and not wanna put anyone over and its just gonna be WCW part 2 .
2 . Hogan realizes he can do alot for the company and realizes the incredible talent they have and puts his ego aside and does whats best for the company and puts guys over and really take it to Vince .
If he does the latter , TNA can become a serious threat to WWE .
