Just posted this in favourite recipes sticky:
-------------------------------------------------------
Gave Emma's "healthy Nutella" a whirl.....
I used:
40g ON Double choc whey
60g raw almonds (then roasted them myself)
20g Green & Blacks 100% dark cocoa powder
2 tspn vanilla extract
100g fat free yoghurt
100g 97% fat free cottage cheese
5.5g splenda
1/4 tspn stevia powder
Conclusion: I had a taste test and I think the stevia has added that "funkiness" to it when too much has been used. I will either use less stevia or scrap it all together considering I barely used a pinch! Otherwise, AWESOME recipe Emma! Will swirl some Trader Joe's peanut butter & roasted flaxseed through it for some extra pizzazz!
hehehe before the mixture settled..... the consistency is actually quite thick but slightly pourable. MmmMmmM om nom nom

Finally... combining my 3 latest discoveries:
Pumpkin waffles + sludge + home made nutella + Trader Joes valencia peanut & roasted flaxseed butter
Who needs snickers when you got this? Although adding chopped snickers + bananas + creamy vanilla ice-cream to this would be heavenly!!!

I've attached a screen capture of the cals in calorieking.com.au
The weight of the finished product worked out to be 320g so I compared the cals with 320g of the real nutella.....
I divided it up as 9 serves, but even if I eat it all in one day it fits in with daily cals pretty well!!! Unlike 320g equivelant of the real nutella.....
But of course I'm gonna stretch this out as long as I can!! Hard to resist when combined with Trader Joe's Valencia peanut butter & roasted flaxseed!! I am trying to make this last as long as possible!!! I wish we could get this stuff brought over to Oz!! heck Trader Joe's should open shop here!! They'd make a killing!!

I do care - coz it all adds up and it takes more than a 1/3 spray to get proper coverage for as you have to do both the top and bottom.. the sprays we have here is like around 2g fat and it takes a few sprays to cover the surface.... like I said the extra cals I would rather dose up on more almond butter with the waffles or melt some coconut oil over the top WITH the almond butter To each their own I guess. I've got approx 50g fats daily to play with.. trust me it goes VERY quickly!

you're worried about 5 calories of cooking spray but you cover your waffles with 3 different types of nut butters? man 2g of fat from cooking spray is not going to make or break you. it will make your life easier though.

Post Lift Sandwich Whey, Cheesecake pudding mix, crushed cinnamon toast crunch
Post Work/Pre bed pasta, little much on the protein, trying to finish off some stuff in the fridge.
Linguine, Lean Ground Beef, Mushrooms, bit of chicken, parm

but seriously, thank you! glad ya stopped creepin and decided to post some more. hopefully this is a trend that will continue! especially because down here in florida we dont really have a "fall" (i like to say we have two seasons, wet and dry!), so it never really gets cold enough for me to feel like cooking fall epicness.

It's not so much I'm worried about 5 calories coz give or take even 20cals is no big deal but when you use the sprays you can underestimate how much you've actually used and it just adds up.... since the batter sticks in random places, unless you cover the whole waffle maker surface then there's no point hence why I look at it as I can have a bit more of something else.... in this case another serve of my own made nutella which I will enjoy more I'm happy for life to be a little bit harder for a bit more indulgence.... to a certain extent.... know what I mean?

haha not really... i'd choose the ease of being able to get my waffle out of the iron and have it not stick and tear over the like 1/12 of a tablespoon worth of nut butter you're gunna get with the same macros.
not to mention unless you are using a digital scale to weigh out EVERY SINGLE THING you consume throughout the day to like the 100th of a gram, you're gaining/losing that amount of calories at least 10x over each day. heck even when im carefully watching and measuring my intakes i assume like +/- 50-100 cals every day at least.

I use to count PAM spray during my early dieting months (was gonna sub year, but hell ).
Here a tips & routine for any individual who is worry about extra calories from PAM.
1. Go to your bathroom and glare at mirror.
2. Start admiring yourself for 1 minute 5 x a day.
3. Continue on with life w/o any worries, because those small exercise will burn and create tiny deficit.
