He will probably kill me for this but I want to draw your attention to
my friend & trusted business partner IFBB Pro John Hodgson here in the UK. After his Olympia debut this year, John stepped aside as a CNP sponsored athlete to allow him to explore pastures new and consider endorsement deals from other companies. Since leaving CNP as an employee back in February of 2008, John had to stand all his own expenses for competing (flights, accommodation etc) which for a bodybuilder of his calibre, at this level is almost unheard of. He received his supplements only from CNP but remained on paper at least, a CNP athlete. I have been telling him for ages he is worth far more & should have a proper endorsement deal. I decided enough is enough so have self appointed myself as his agent. He has his own long term financial stability to consider & more importantly to John, that of his daughter too so naturally he does not want to limit the potential of his status in this sport.
Following his performances this year at the Olympia (during which he won accolades from Shawn ray, Lee Priest & Dave Palumbo to name but a few) I think it’s befitting of an athlete at his level that any supplement company would be eager to sign him up.
To fill you in a little, John has been a stalwart of British Bodybuilding for almost two decades, from the day he burst onto the competitive scene as a first timer in 1993 (in that year gaining the Weider new star of the year award), worked his way through the EFBB ranks (English branch of the IFBB) where he took no less than three British titles & finally earned his Pro card in 1999. John really is personification of the fact that perseverance, hard work & unshakeable self belief really does pay off. All this when you consider he was told in the early years he did not have the right structure for a bodybuilder, yeah, right!
John has now begun to raise his profile stateside, mixing it up with the likes of David Henry & other world class 202 competitors. This month, he has also been awarded the title of Britain’s Bodybuilder of the year 2009 by Flex Magazine as featured in the current UK issue.
Since his Olympia debut, John has retuned with a renewed focus & really has the bit between his teeth. He is training like a man possessed & working on areas he needs to improve. I have never seen him quite so driven & it’s great to see him training so hard. If you consider what he has achieved in the last two years whilst setting up our state of the art gym (during which time his training was a little erratic as you can expect), you can only imagine what a good eight months of solid training & eating can yield on his frame. This is a man with unfinished business so don't think for a second he is in the twilight of his career, far from it.
As his friend I would dearly like him to begin to see some financial reward more befitting to his status in the sport. John has always liked to play things low key & not shout from the rooftops, preferring to let his physique do the talking. I believe a little talking can go a long way as we see people much lower down the ranks being offered attractive deals by willing sponsors. In light of this, I am taking it upon myself to say to any supplement companies on here that there lies here an opportunity to have a high profile IFBB Pro on your books.
I suspect that the association with CNP has prevented any other companies approaching him in the past but this is no longer a barrier so I would invite offers from willing parties. Just e mail me at the gym

This is a genuine opportunity, not to be missed.
