Hi guys my first time posting here, been trolling the thread for a while firstly thanks for the great FREE advice, it's truly motivational and powerful!
Just a quick question I'm thinking of starting to diet down to around 10% BF I'm currently at around 12-13%. I notice that you guys advocate 0 carbs for cutting and I'd like to know how much that would hinder your ability to lift due to having no/little glycogen stores. If the difference is big then I think i would stick to the 'old school' bulk with carbs to allow me to train at my optimum level (eating clean of course). Just curious because i honestly think your method of cutting down BF first is a better method if glycogen stores have little impact on lifting.
Currently considering your 'new' method of shredding then adding bulk rather than the 'old school' bulk then cut.
Thanks again I'm in no way questioning your methods just wanna do my homework and research as much as i can before I try this method as I'm only 16 and don't wanna do anything 'stupid'! Hope i can steal some of your experience for this answer =]

Hey i got a question for you guys, my workout schedule consists of day 1 - chest/tri, day2 -back/bi, day 3 off, day 4 - shoulder, day 5 - legs/arms, day 6 off, day 7 - repeat. but i also swim every day for 30 minutes for cardio.. am i over training or is this a legit training program? reason i'm asking is that im starting to get injuries in my elbows and shoulders so i just dont know whats going on.

I'll speak on this one for him...lol
He feels great, because I offered to put him on a simple carb cycling diet, but he enjoys the keto effects too much LOL

Various factors could influence this- lack of rest or even inadaquate supply of nutrients

AJ / Andre ,
I'm currently on a keto carb cycling diet with re-feed days on weekends. I'm playing basketball on weekends as well for 2 teams and it's fast paced aggressive style we're playing (high intensity cardio) for around 2 hours or so. I was wondering should i invest in a muscle protection supplement like glutamine as my glycogen levels are lowish?
Thanks in advance.

Without a doubt brother not only glutamine but BCAA / EAA stack with a ratio of 2:1 with the luecine content being higher ...

I've been on my current split for at least 5 months. Will changing it up with a new split possibly increase gains?

YES! Along with taking some time off from training, i.e. a week, and then returning FRESH and MOTIVATED.

Aj already answered this but YES. Glutamine, BCAAs and EAAs are very important when dieting down. The first two are extremely helpful, the later is just the cherry on top IMO.

buddy imo you would be better off buying some free weights .....
im sorry to tell you this but i dont think one can write a routine simply for this machine...
i dont understand why you would spend 200 bucks for this machine if you can pay like 29 a month for a gym membership??? --- you could train for over 6 months in a fully equipped gym!
