The Edge with Anthony Hopkins 8/10 - not the best movie ever but definitely entertaining...classic line by Hopkins in the movie...no spoilers.

See it. It's a very entertaining movie, but a very important one as well. The entire film is a metaphor regarding the current immigration crisis and how certain peoples are marginalized and vilified by others. Highly recommended.

Paranormal Activity- 7.5/10
Not really into horror movies but this made me jump a few times so that was good. Similar to the Blair Witch in that it is filmed as a documentary type deal. Pretty cool though, would be a good date movie haha

Let the Right One In
8.7/10
I really enjoyed it. The casting and the atmosphere were very well done. It's a vampire movie, but at times you almost forget about that because you are so into the children and the relationship they are forming with eachother. As with most foreign films, it should be watched in it's native language to truly enjoy the acting.

The Proposal
8/10
perfect movie for me and the girl to watch together... sandra bullock is hot as hell, and it was pretty funny at moments. Not ground shattering, and totally a chick flick, but not bad to see with the girl

Where The Wild Things Are: A generous 3/10.
This movie had no real target audience...it was far too scattered to have a plot line suitable for adults, but it was far too dark for children.
The movie dragged on, didn't really have a point, and I was really annoyed that I paid $8 for it.

finally watched it after Illa and the good bros talk about it with frequency... it wasnt all that good but ive certainly seen much worse.
the overall premise was very funny, and it was very watchable, but nothing to write home about
i guess 6/10 would be my rating

"This Film is not yet rated" - Interesting but coulda been a much better doc if there were less scenes of the PI chasing down members and more interviews with filmmakers - but I'd imagine a lot of filmakers would be reluctant to appear in the doc. Best scenes - when he submits his film to the MPAA and clips from the movies in question. Wonder wut Kirby would do with a doc on capitalism! lol!

Freedom Writers - One of the better inner city school dramas. Inspirational. Doesn't focus entirely on the students struggles or the teacher's life - but a good balance b/n both.

I agree, just saw this last night. To many people quoted this and talked it up, I was a little dissapointed but funny none the less.

American Beauty
10/10
Simply put, if you haven't seen this movie...you should. It is an academy award winning dark, dramatic comedy that draws up a wild image of Americans. One of Kevin Spacey's best performances ever as a creepy dad in love with his daughter's friend.
Plus, 2 pairs of tits. Can't argue with that. Seriously though, get this movie and watch. It's mind blowing.

Law Abiding Citizen: 9/10
Some crazy sh** happens during this movie! Gerard Butler is never typecasted for a reason.
Where the Wild Things Are: 9/10
Got to watch it for free, but waited in line for like 3 hours. It does drag on a bit but definitely creates nostalgia for those that are fans of the book. It's more about cinematography and how the movie captures what we've always imagined! There is a lesson in the movie for those who want to understand children. Also, definitely not a movie for kids lol.

the only way they will stop making them is if people stop paying to see them.
