EAS Whey
Anyone use it? how is it taste wise?
Normally dont venture outside of my normal ON or Myofusion, but was at Sams Club earlier, and its on sale 5 lbs for 26$. Was pretty impressed as 5lbs is usually around 45-50 for this brand. So i picked up 5 lbs of chocolate.

Their stuff tastes ok....
It is just a tad lower quality of protein, but a lot lower price.

I've pretty much only ever used EAS 100% Whey, I just get mine at Sams Club whenever I run out.
It's a 5lb bag with I believe 76 servings for 30 bucks basically. I've had no problems with the taste of the chocolate or vanilla either.

No, just no. The quality is pretty much the same. ON's whey isolate is cheap ion-exchange and normal whey concentrate, it's not the best quality of isolate's you can get at all. EAS protein is great tasting. The taste of both EAS and ON's are pretty subtle compared to those of Cytosport Complete Whey, Scivation's, Gaspari Myofusion but still good.

I'm considering giving it a shot to help stretch the protein budget. From what I've read on here some people claim it can taste a little gritty/sandy.
If you already bought it, give it a try and let us know what you think.

The vanilla tastes like CRAP. One of the worst tasting whey's I've ever had. Would never ever buy it again, would rather not drink protein than drink that stuff again.
And it's $30 where I am. For that price I can get MGN which is WORLDS better imo.

Thx for the responses fellas, with it being in the bag i probably wont open it till i finish off the tub of ON im on, probably a few weeks. May just leave it on the counter as my sludge protein.
Definitly not a fan of bags, profile looks solid though, hopefully it isnt gritty as i only use water and the grittiness really comes thru with low grade proteins

EAS is the first protein i tried...the mixability was not the best but it doesn't create any problems really, it ends up mixing completly. The taste is ok, considering i chose strawberry lol! I got huge gains using it...but it might be cause i was still new to lifting.
only problem i had with it (and it's the reason why i stopped using it) is that it has a lot more cholesterol than other whey's you can buy and i have a cholesterol problem in my family...

Pretty much the same thing here. The price is amazing, 5 lbs. for $27.99, and chocolate is not bad at all. Vanilla....definitely won't get that again,  .

Vanilla tastes fine mixed in Orange Juice, but it tends to clump up a lot more than O.N.'s Whey. If you can find it at Sam's it's a good deal I think.

Good choice with going with chocolate, IMO if a protein misses on the chocolate flavor, they'll miss on others as well.
I use the EAS protein when I run out and am waiting for my order, its got the same amino acid profile compared to other products, tastes good, and mixes average

I have used it consistently for a year+. I think the supplements world is far from getting what you pay for, worse yet sometimes you get things you didnt pay for included !
I buy a bag each of choc and vanilla; and then mix them 50/50 which I find gives me the best flavor. I dont like things too plain, or too chocolate.
