Haha. I get that alot, and it's kinda retarded cuz the football guys I have for class go in without a prob but there also a little taller and mad out of shape ( guess that's why our football team sucks). Then when I walk in it's all eyes on me! Kinda feels awkward but fck it. It is kinda mad funny tho outshinibg the university football team lol

I think the one thing I enjoy the most bout being tall n athletic is the intimidation factor, hardly get into street fights but once in a while u have the short guy who wants to slay Goliath and of course you put them in their place. Wannabe heroes lol

Yep-clothes can be a challenge--car recommendations?
Yeah--finding decent clothes can be a challege for tall folk--Casual Male Big and Tall tends to focus more on the big and big---not many decent clothes for tall /big. If you do find a local tall store they tend to have limited inventory and what they do have is a few years old...if not more--and more expensive than they should be. JCPenny has a decent catalog.
Was wondering if the taller guys out there could recommend a car to buy---I have a Toyota Tundra now--like it a lot--but for the next vehicle looking for something while still nice looking, offers better mileage. Any suggestions?

Yeah I ditched trucks a while back cuz of gas. Was really wanting the new model mustang but could not fit comfortable esp with my long ass legs. I ended up getting a cts, it's comfy not trucks spacious but way better than sport/compact vehicles. I would prob suggest not going smaller than midsize. One day it would be nice going back to trucks when gas prices drop lol. As for the clothes part, Ive never been to a big n tall store, don't think I could ever bring myself into entering one. I've found comfortable shirts and jeans at pacsun. Stylish not tight and not too baggy. Except I heard they discontinued some types of jeans recently so prob time to try out that indie jeans. Com place

The best thing about being tall is the increase of chicks you get from it. You never hear a woman say they LLLOVVVE them some short ass guys LMAO! The only problem with being tall is the dirty looks you get from these short little power house dudes that are hating cuz they got a size complex x.x;; Always the first to get sized up, and always the first to get socked for no reason in jail for somone to gain rep points lol

6'4 230 pounds here guys. I agree it does take awhile to fill out a tall persons frame but when you do you can look huge.

Tall bodybuilders central
I'm 6'2" myself but no huge muscleman. My free tall men's website www.bigdonsboys.com has a huge section of bodybuilders at
http://www.bigdonsboys.com/bodybuilders/index.htm
Although I'm gay the site is a mixture of all types of guys (plus lots of gorgeous girlfriends). Probably the biggest bodybuilder is either Noah Steere or 7'0" 330+ pound Conan Stevens a wrestler/actor/stuntman. I attached his photo to this note. Doesn't this board allow people to insert photos?

6' 4" here. Just started body building 3 weeks ago. The numbers at the gym say I'm getting stronger, but it's ridiculous trying to get some chest definition. I'm on a Keto diet now to drop about 20 pounds. My plan is to cut, and then bulk. Good to know that I'm not alone.

I did same long time ago. I was fat and tall so in 3 months i got ridiculously skinny ( lost around 50lbs with simple protein diet and hi-repetition workout ). After that I attacked my muscles with lots of proteins and hc-workouts, and it worked. Dont get upset about chests, we tall guys have big frame so it needs more time and more meat to fill it, but when we get enough mass results looks spectacular

Thanks for the encouragement. Been lifting 3 months, not 3 weeks. Typo. Have gained about 50 pounds on my bench press, but only started at about 100 lbs. My lower body is pretty muscular naturally, but somehow my upper body never caght up. Trying to change that.
Dude, you are huge and look great.

6-6 230
I'd much rather be long and lean than short and stubby.
Good place to get nice fitting shirts is A&F. For me an XL works, but they do run a little short in length, shows your hard work off though.
Go TALL!

Tall and still thin..
Nice thread. Good to hear about everyone else's shirt troubles. I hate the popped out t-shirt under a button-up.

6'4 and 215 here and I hate shopping for t-shirts as well. hahaha, I usually end up with Ecko clothing as they sell decent stuff at the bigntall store that doesn't end at my belly or fit so big I feel like I'm swimming in it.

Ye chin ups are a bitch being tall, one guy i work out with is 5ft5 he does about 15 proper chin ups whereas i can do 12. I keep telling him mines more impressive cos i have to go further down and lift myself all the way up again with my long ass arms. His chinups are like half or the effort i have to put in. Still though once we fill out our bodies will look much better
|
Hahahahaha. Manlet. That's awesome. 6-4 here. I struggle to build mass.

In a totally heterosexual way, you look pretty good for 43 bro. I hope I look that good at 43. I'm pretty sure my fiance would second that as well.

Oh hey, do you play basketball ? *RAAAGE*
Aside from that line - it's all good.
Kinda gets hard to really bulk clean - due to the enormous amount of food consumed.
I don't know about you dudes - but daamn it gets expensive to eat.

Hell yes it is. I dropped 75 bucks at Hyvee the other day and all I had to show for it was a couple of packages of Chicken Breasts, milk, cottage cheese, oatmeal, and a few smaller items. I walked out thinking, "God it would be nice to not care about my physique." Oh well, I can see my toes when I look down so it's worth it.
